Ryan's P.O.V

We drive to the next town.

Closest town at least.

But not home. Bryce and I get out of the car.

I parked at some area.

We walk around the town. Suddenly, a girl with purple hair and brown eyes approach us. Definitely around my age.

"Hey, my name's Minx. What do you need here in our little town?" the girl, whose name is Minx, asks.

"I was wondering if there was a library around here?" I ask.

"Of course there is! Our town may not be that big. But we have a small library a few blocks down." she says, "Come on! I'll show you where it is."

She starts walking, I look at Bryce and he shrugs. We follow her.

We arrive at the library.

"Bye!" she yells giggling, running away.

I face the two story structure. A dark green building. A small glass window on each of the door. I open the door and enter first. Then Bryce.

I walk to the librarian, "Do you have any books about hybrids? Or myth books about hybrids?" I ask him.

"Well good afternoon to you. I'll check if we do. The name's Sark by the way." he says. He types into a computer.

A minute of pure silence.

"Yeah we do actually. It's one of the old books in the back." he says.

"Thanks, Mr. Sark." I say.

"Anytime, Mr...?"

"Ryan. Call me Ryan." I smile.

I take Bryce's wrist and drag him with me to the back. I look at the slightly dusty shelves of books.

I trace my hand on each spine of book I come across.

'The Myth A Reality'

'Theorizer and Theory'

'Music. A history'

"These are weird." I mutter.

"Indeed they are." Bryce whispers.

'Hybrids and Humans'

"Here!" I whisper-yell taking the book.

"Why're you looking for that?" Bryce asks.

"Reasons." I answer him.

Bryce shrugs, "Well okay then. I'll go look for something to read."

"I'll be here." I tell him.

I sit down.

I scan through the book. Looking for anything.

'Hybrids can be anything raging from a mix of two different animals. But the rarest and mostly impossible to find. Are the animal-human hybrids. Said to be non-existent.'

I chuckle at this. "Non-existent they say. I'll prove everyone wrong." I mutter then quickly finish the book and put it back on the shelf.

I search for another book about hybrids.

There weren't much. I found at least 3. The first one.

And these next two in my hands.

'Human-Hybrids: Meant To Live In Harmony With Other Humans?'

'A Journal About The Sightings of Hybrids'

I read the journal one first. It has brown pages. Slightly sloppy writing, but still understandable.
