Ryan's P.O.V

I realize who might be after me after what Evan had texted.

A duo who have the nicknames Markiplier and Jacksepticeye.

The crew bearing the names SeaNanners, Gassy Mexican, Diction and Ritz.

I knew both of them before Evan took me in.

Mark and Jack... we used to be such good friends. Same thing with the people in the crew.

I still don't wanna tell Bryce my feelings for him.

I fear rejection.

I fear losing him.

I fear that he won't even like me back.

Love at first sight doesn't and shouldn't exist.

So why am I falling for him?

"Ryan?" I hear someome say. I shake out of the endless dooming thoughts.

"Yeah?" I say, not looking at him.

"You alright?" he asks.

I nod.

I'm not alright.

———

I take the long cut back home.

Only because... I have this gut feeling.

Someone is following us.

Bryce has easily fallen asleep in the back. I don't blame him. It's already night and it's still really far until we get back. Especially with me taking the long cut.

Because of the long cut I took,
I keep driving. Concentrating on the road.

Then I see a flash of lights behind us.

At first, I just pass it off as nothing. I keep driving. Tightening my grip on the wheel.

It's alright.

It's alright.

It's alright.

I see a motel in the distance. And decide to take my chances.

I park and and get out. I open the car door to Bryce's side and nudge him.

"Brycey." I sang. "Wake up."

"Huh. What." Bryce groans.

"I stopped at a motel. We're staying here for the night." I inform him.

———

I lay down on the bed. It feels weird having to share a bed with Bryce. I offered to sleep on the chair and table instead. Bryce didn't want it.

I sat on the outer part of the bed because Bryce wanted the side of the bed where the window was.

He's asleep. I turn around and face him. I blush heavily as I come face-to-face with an asleep Bryce.

Who looks real cute.

I look up to the ceiling. In deep thought.

Maybe I'll tell him when I get there.

But why did he insist on coming along with me.

I still want to know.

Curiosity kills the cat as some might say.
