Accalia woke up in a giant banana leaf. Yes, a giant banana leaf. She had a little cotton wad thing on her neck that was taped down on her wound where the tranquilliser dart was. There was about the whole pack staring down at her, - wait WHAT? The whole pack?! " Out! Out! Out!" She shoed them away and all was left was a young girl and guy standing next to her, smiling and whispering to each other. After a long awkward pause, the girl spoke up " Er, Hi! My name is Moon! " the girl had long bleach blond hair and startling blue eyes that had an electric blue tinge to it, she wore a black skin with a raccoon cap, which was probably real... Yea it is. The boy had silver hair like Accalia's but with a brown tinge to it, his eyes glowed blue like Moon's and he had a crooked smile. He was wearing some tiger stripe patterned jeans and a tiger skin shirt. He was holding steak and... And it was gone. Accalia ate it. " So like" she chewed the steak " wawts yowr name? " Moon opened her mouth but her brother cut her off " This is my sister, Moon, and my name is Cypress." He pointed to his sister and mouthed something like " She is so annoying " and Accalia mouthed back " Your sister is so unlucky to have a brother like you " Cypress faked a pout and gave a crooked grin. Moon shook her head and asked Accalia " Hey, I'm going by the brook to catch some salmon, was wondering if you wanted to come. " Accalia thought for a moment and nodded " Yea, sure sounds good!" She climbed out of the banana leaf and bolted out of the camp archway with Moon as Cypress chased them.
When they arrived at the brook, Moon looked at Accalia, than at Cypress, and Accalia looked and Moon then at Cypress and Cypress looked at Moon, Accalia, then at himself in the brook, and doubled over laughing. On Cypress's face there was a smear of dirt and he had twigs and leaves in his hair, he looked like he came back from a three day marathon in the woods. Accalia clutched her belly and rolled on the floor, laughing and gasping for air. When their laughing fit finally stopped, Moon spoke up "Do" she panted " know how to change into a wolf yet?" Accalia shook her head but replied "Lemme try on my own first." "Alright." Moon walked behind a shrub and in a blink of an eye, she was a wolf, with yellowish fur and blue eyes with an electric blue tinge to it, she shook her fur and groomed herself, licking each paw carefully. Cypress also emerged from behind a bush, he had silver fur with light brown highlights on his back, snout and tail. He had blue eyes but this time, they had green circles instead of brown. Accalia closed her eyes and thought of herself as a wolf, a she-wolf with beautiful silver fur with purple streaks and highlights scattered around on her fur, she had magenta eyes with green circles around them. Suddenly, she felt an agonising pain and clutched her stomach, groaning in pain as she felt her ears inching upwards, her nails cut in into claws and her fingers shortening into paws, she felt her tail sprouting from a bit below her spine, and her hair shortening into fur. Her eyes fluttered open, and she looked down and screamed, wait no, that came out as a shrill bark. She scrambled around as Moon walked up to her and barked "It hurts the first time but your gonna get used to it soon, and it won't hurt next time like a dozen needles sticking into your brain when your ears move up." Cypress nudged them as he poked the pile of tuna, salmon and minnows he caught. Accalia nodded and walked to the bubbling brook, singing it's sweet melody. She waded into the shallow end and waited for a long time.
A long time passed and suddenly, she saw a flicker of movement at the end of the brook, she silently padded over there and gasped her wolf gasp. Under, were dozens of fat, huge, salmon, tuna, catfish, name it, you have it. She beckoned her friends over and their eyes widened. Accalia nodded, and the three of them started to grab the fattest fish that they could find, it was a flurry of splashing, yowling and biting. But after the commotion stopped, Accalia realised she changed form during the grabbing and biting, to a human... Cypress and Moon did the same too. They gasped in unison and scrambled out of the water. Right there, was a heap of fish that went up to around her waist! Some fish managed to get away, but the fattest were caught. But Accalia had to say, the largest was a catfish that was longer then her human leg. It was the first one she lunged for and her friends stood their, unrecovered from the shock.
After Moon and Cypress knew how to open their mouthes and speak again, They went to scavenge for big leaves so they could make little sacks for putting the fish in. In all, they made around three trips just to take the fish home, and by then, night was falling... And so was the sun.
After dinner( it was a feast ) the pack thanked Accalia and her friends for catching the delicious dinner. Pointedfang, Cypress's and Moon's dad, as well as the pack leader, thanked them for the great catch, and they went to sleep. Accalia went to a cabin that was next to the big house, and went to bed.
