Accalia's eyes fluttered open to find vast emptiness around her, enveloping her in its darkness. She stood up and took in a breath of fresh air. "Where... where am I?" Her voice echoed around her, bouncing around like a basketball. "Hello?" once again it bounced around. She blinked, than in front of her, was her... it can't be.... in front of her stood her two parents, trapped in a cage and to be doing what seemed like playing cards. But they still looked as young as ever. Her mom, Raina, had beautiful silver hair like hers while her dad had brown hair and the same eyes as her. They were both painfully thin and dirty as if they hadn't eaten in ages. "Mother! Father!" Accalia shouted desperately, she waved her arms and shouted again "Mother!!! Father!!! Do you hear me?" She stared hopelessly as they took no notice of her. "Wake UP!!" A faraway voice shrieked, "Wake UP!!" "Huh?" Accalia tried to blink the sleep out of her eyes as she sat up "Where are my parents?" she said groggily. A confused-looking mentor stared at her, "Have you had too much fish?" She asked. She had beautiful red hair that was put in a pony tail with strands that she kept on having to tuck behind her ear, her eyes were misty grey with black smudges in it. She was quite slim with her nails painted red. Overall, she was stunning. "Alrighty! My name is Scarlet and I'm going to be your mentor/ helper thing for the whole time you are going to be here. Your a bit too old to have a mentor so I'm just gonna teach you the basics and I'm off. I'm not too strict... I think." She clapped her hands together and said "Quickly dress up! Get in some clean clothes" she pointed at a stack of shirts and dresses and jumpsuits "I will meet you at the central hearth." She hurried off and disappeared around the corner of the door. Accalia sighed and stared at her reflection in the mirror, then she strode over to the pile of clothes that Scarlet gave her and grabbed a cheetah jumpsuit with a zipper in the middle and tied her hair into a quick ponytail, she then slipped into a pair of converse and bolted out the door.
She arrived at the central hearth while Scarlet featured for Accalia to follow her. They ran along a little path and dove under a hedge, then Scarlet gestured to a clearing "Here it is!" Accalia gasped as she looked at the clearing, there was a river flowing past and the distinct sound of birds chirping. There were any different coloured wild flowers that were blooming and healthy. Scarlet transformed into a wolf and flicked her tail to tell Accalia to follow her. Accalia too turned into a wolf and padded into a sandy hollow. She looked around. It wasn't as impressive as the whole place itself of course but it was still beautiful. It was just a big pit of sand. "This is where we practice for our fighting, the obstacle course is on the other side, we will do it later." "Anyone else going to join us?" Accalia asked "Yes" replied Scarlet. She let out a high pitched whistle and Accalia heard rustling in the bushes. Accalia turned around. "Hi!" said a girl, she was standing next to her brother. They both had ebony-dark fur and magical blue eyes, must've been twins. The only difference was that the she-wolf seemed more sleek and agile while the he-wolf seemed more big and menacing. "The name is Storm" The he-wolf said. He shook his shaggy dark fur and slanted his ears toward his twin "and this is Shadow." The she-wolf puffed up her chest and shook her head, pulling up her lips in a smile. "Your going to duel with Shadow first." Accalia padded to the sandy pit and instinctively unsheathed her claws and snarled, baring her white fangs at him. Storm bared is fangs and growled at her, flicking his tail back and forth, and unsheathed his claws. "Fight!" Scarlet yowled as Accalia anticipated Storm's slash and ducked. She leapt over him and twisted around to her belly and dived under his stomach. She slashed him a bit as she didn't want to hurt him too much. Storm bent down and bit her on the ear, extending his claws in an attempt to scratch her, he hit her in the neck. Hard. Accalia yowled and tumbled away, and collapsed while whimpering. "Storm! STOP!" Shadow barked, giving her brother a look that could kill. Scarlet ran over to Accalia and howled for the medicine wolf to come. Awooooooooooo! She howled in a high pitched tone as Vineclaw tore down the clearing as more wolves followed him, all holding different types of herbs as Storm back into the bushes nervously, the wildness she saw in his eyes gone.
