~Scar~

Scar nestled in the nook of the soft redwood bark as birds fluttered past. The wind whistled softly as groundlings scurried around. He made a lazy attempt to snatch a bird from the air, obviously missing as the creature darted away, screeching and flapping as Scar chuckled to himself. "Scar!!!! Oh Scar!!!!" Timber barked, sniffing at the ground, trying to find Scar. Scar fought back an urge to laugh as he pressed himself into the bark of the tree, safe up in the branch. Timber sniffed a few more times and smiled "Oh! I wonder where Scar is?" She unsheathed her claws as she dug them into the bark of the redwood tree and hauled herself up. "Hehe... Timber?!" Scar screeched nearly falling out of the branch as he leaped onto a higher one, jumping from branch to branch like a monkey. Timber gnashed her teeth as she hauled herself into the branch where Scar was. Scar had a way with climbing and was surprisingly good at it, even though his parents were equally bad at it. Scar laughed, springing up into the next branch and yawning dramatically. "Wake me up when you get here, okay?" He slumped down as he watched Timber try to make a grab for his tail, missing as she fell down into the little stream that went by. "I give up! She barked, climbing out the stream and shaking her pelt, water droplets spewing everywhere. Scar leapt off the branch and landed nimbly on the ground, trotting away, grinning to himself.
