Farkle and I spent a big day together. It was 4pm, school finished half an hour ago so I was excited to see Riley and Lucas. I heard a knock on the door. I called for them to come in. Riley walked in and saw me on the edge of my bed. I jumped off my bed and walked to Riley. She was amazing at me walking and she screamed off excitement. The nurse and Farkle helped me walk around so I could get my legs working again. I've been excellent all day. She looked so happy and so did Topanga. I smiled and hugged them both. "Thankyou for looking after me, love you guys!" I said to them with no stutter. They smiled and we walked to my bed. My nurse came in and told me amazing news! She said I could go home this afternoon as long as I had someone at home with me. I was so excited to go home but sad to leave such a caring nurse. I hugged the nurse and thanked her for all the kind things she did for me these last 2 days. She smiled then helped me and mum collect my stuff. Mum drove us home. She dropped Farkle home on the way because his parents hadn't seen him in 2 days because he was with me. We went home and I walked straight to my bed and flopped down. I was so happy to be in my own bed. Topanga went home with Riley but were happy I was safe. I was happy I was ok again but I had crutches just in case my legs gave in. I went straight to bed and rested so hopefully I could go to school tomorrow.
