New morning. I sit up and reach for my crutches. Mum comes in with my breakfast. I sit on my bed and eat then get dressed. Mum packed my school bag and got ready for her work as I braided my hair for the school day ahead. We finished getting ready and then we climbed into the car. As we were driving down the street, I saw the same group of kids from before. I pointed them out to mum then took a picture on my phone. We picked up Farkle on the way past because his parents were working really hard on a big product. He climbed into the car and I showed him the picture. Mum kept driving past school, Farkle and I were very confused. She drove to a local police station. We got out of the car and walked in together with me on my crutches. The police saw us and pulled up a chair for me. They came over and asked if I was ok. I told him as much as I could remeber from the other day and Farkle told him about how he found me unconscious on the grass. The police asked if I remembered what they look like. I showed him the photo from this morning and he took my phone to a computer. He tracked their names down. He told me I should be careful and get to school now. We all left to go to school. I hobbled into school with Farkle as I waved goodbye to my mum. We went to all our classes together except for math. I did all my classes again today because I did my art stuff in lunch time. My teachers were very pleased with me. I had a great time in all my classes with Riley and Farkle. My mum was still at work when school finished so Farkle and I went to Riley's house. We had a lovely dinner thanks to Topanga and sat by the window talking most of the night until my mum picked us up. Farkle did not want to leave me so he asked my mum if he could stay over. My mum was happy for him to stay over because then she would have extra help with me. Farkle and I jumped into my mums car and waved goodbye to Riley, Topanga and Auggie. We reached home and Farkle and I went straight to my bedroom so my mum could rest. We ate some of my stash of chocolate in the bay window. We watched the stars shine and moon glow. It felt like it did in the start. He leant into me and we kissed on the lips. He held me close and we fell asleep at the window sill. My mum came in later on to check if we were ok. She saw us curled up on the window together. She woke Farkle up a little bit and moved him to my bed along with me because my mum trusted us. We snuggled up together and kept each other warm. We had a good night together. I was happy to have someone like Farkle in my life.
