Chapter 7 - Her True Self
Shiori's P.O.V
"Shiori.. I-" He paused, looking down.
And just when he was about to continue, a man knocked him down, grabbing my hand and ran.
"USUI!" I called out. How could he just leave him there?!
"Yukino-Chan," The man gazed at me.
"Why?" I asked, ignoring the fact that he knows my last name.
"He's a pureblood vampire! Why are you talking to him as if you were friends?!".
"Eh?! W-WE AREN'T FRIENDS! WE ARE ENEMIES! I'M NEVER GONNA BE HIS FRIEND. EVER." I yelled.
"Alright, then," he sighed. "Is he suspicious? Doing anything strange?"
"Who are you?" I asked.
"Kentaro Sasaki, from the A.H.Q. You are Shiori Yukino, Aka, Kuro Mika, am I right?"
Oh... wait. My eyes opened wide. Kuro... Mika...
He seemed to have noticed my expression. "Your father told me before he passed away."
I looked down. "Never say that name again." my voice cracked.
"Because it's your Marsu's name?" he muttered.
"I thought she was just my 'true self' that's what my mother who adopted me said when she once came out.." I said shocked, I didn't know a Marsu was a thing inside of me.
"Don't come near that boy again unless you are in an illusionary form" he said completely ignoring everything i said.

"Whatever."
"Change into Kuro Mika." He told me.
"W-what?! N-no! Why?!" I said shocked. How dare he tell me to just change into something i've been avoiding for such a long time now. "She doesn't even come out!" I spat.
"All you have to do is ask..." He said about to laugh.
-.- "No." "I'm never being Kuro Mika, she's dangerous."
"Not unless you tame her, Kuro Mika is a very nice girl inside."
"No!" I yelled.
"You have to, Kuro." He said closing his eyes a bit.
"No! No! No! No! No! No! No!!!!!" I cried.
"DON'T CALL ME KURO!"
Please god, get me out of here. I shouldn't have agreed to this.. please..
"Shi-Shiori..." the man fell.
I was shining and bursting with blue flames. No, i wasn't on fire, atleast i think i wasn't. This was Kuro Mika. My Marsu
