'Everything Will Be Fine' (Rwby Fanfic)

Chapter 3: a 'Grimm' discovery

As Qrow Yang and Ruby wander over the school perimeter they come along Jaune and Velvet, who where in a conversation about why it didnt had any effect of photographing Jaune's sword as it was nothing special to begin with.

(Jaune) "i told you last time Velvet. My sword has no special functions. Its just a regular sword."
(Velvet) "well how about your shield then? That one can fold up right?"
(Jaune) "yes but that is also nothing special, Also i am a bit camera shy."
(Velvet) "aw thats okay. I don't HAVE to make a photo of you tho."
(Jaune) "thank god."
(Ruby) "HEY JAUNE!"
(Jaune) "oh hey Ruby...Yang.. and tall scary looking man in grey clothing who i have never seen before.... no offense."
(Yang) "very smooth blondy."
(Jaune) "you're the one to talk."

Qrow stares intensly at Jaune as he hides quietly behind Velvet.
Jaune whispers to Velvet. "he is gonna hurt me for that isn't he.
(Velvet) "i don't think so. You are fine Jaune. Can you get off of my back now?"
As jaune drops off from Velvets back
He takes a look at Qrow.
(Qrow) "so Yang... this your boyfriend or something?"
Softly placing his hand on his weapon as a silent hint.
(Yang) "what him? Haha in his dreams maybe."
(Jaune) "i am not that bad... am i Ruby?"
(Ruby) "hey wow... don't blend me in now."
(Qrow) "so who are you two if i may ask."
(Velvet) "hello. My name is Velvet Scarlatina. Can i make a picture of you Ruby and Yang?"
(Qrow) "why? are you a journalist?"
(Velvet) "oh no sir. I just like to collect photo's of people and their weapons.
Its a uhm... sort of hobby of mine.
(Qrow) "oh... that explains alot then, in that case you can, but i got to get my angle right."
(Velvet) "take your time."
As the three pose for Velvet, Ruby pulls Jaune in the group as well and Velvet makes a picture of the four.
(Velvet) "thank you and it looks great! I have to go to see how the team is doing. Bye everyone."

As Velvet walks off happily, Jaune remains with Ruby, Yang and Qrow.
(Ruby) "so... Jaune.... coming to hunt some Grimm as well?"
(Jaune) "uh... no thank you Ruby. I was uhm... on my way to the shop for stuff... for Ren. At least until Velvet came along."
(Yang) "pancakes?"
Jaunes sighs and looks up to Yang with a disappointig look on his face
(Jaune) "yes... pancakes... Nora's stomache is like a black hole for those things..."
(Ruby) "have fun then!"
(Qrow) "okay you two. Follow me, then we go hunt some Grimm."
(Ruby) "aw yeah!"
As the trio walks into the emerald forest Qrow looks around a bit as Ruby hops after Yang being all excited to finaly be able to fight alongside her uncle.

It doesn't take long before Qrow gets his weapon out and tells Ruby and Yang to do the same as a roaring sound comes close and closer.
(Qrow) "alright kids. The big moment to show me your skills. Lets see if beacon thaught you well."
(Qrow) *i just have to keep them safe. It won't be that hard. I just wish i could tell them why we where here.*
(Ruby) "Yang! Behind you!"
As Yang turns around an Ursa stands behind her roaring loudly as Yang uses Ember Celica to shoot a few rounds into it, angering the Ursa and causing it to try and hit her.
As she jumps backward with a summersault and uses her weapon to dash forward, Yang hits the creature multiple times and makes another summersault jump and lands her right foot on the Grimms head smashing it down on the ground and shooting it in the head.
(Ruby) "WOOHH!! 10 points for Yang!"
(Qrow) "Not bad."
(Yang) "oh it was nothing, Really."

As they venture deeper into the forest they get ambushed by a group of Beowolves and before anyone could do anything Ruby uses her semblance to charge towards the group of Grimm and starts circling Crescent Rose around cutting 4 of them in half.
as the other Grimm look towards her and charge at her, Ruby slices down the scythe into the ground and starts shooting a few of them.
Yang charges forward and hits a few Beowolves that come dangerously close to Ruby from the side trying to attack her.
(Ruby) "thanks sis."
(Yang) "no biggie."
As two bigger Ursai come from the bushes behind the Beowolves, Qrow jumps against a tree and charges at high speed towards them trying to stab the left one.
As the Ursa blocks the attack Qrow lands on the floor and crouches down circling around and slices its legs off.
(Ruby) "wow, So cool."
Once the legs chopped off Qrow slices upwards cutting the creature in half.
Making a summersault backwards and transforms it into its gun form shooting the other Ursa right in the head.
Yang dodges an attack from two Beowolves.
Landing behind them making a summersault smacking in both their heads at the same time.
