'Everything Will Be Fine' (Rwby Fanfic)

Chapter 6: Consequences

As team RWBY makes their way home trough the forest after a whole day of training.
Ruby begins to slow down a little in pace, wich was weird for the others as she is usualy the energetic one.
(Ruby) "i-i think i need to rest a bit guys."
(Yang) "whats wrong sis? You're always so energetic."
Yang kneels down at ruby as ruby sits on the floor.
(Ruby) "its nothing really. I just feel tired."
(Blake) "don't forget to wash your face when we get home. That black goo is really nasty."
(Ruby) "i will blake."
(Yang) "alright kiddo, i'll just have to lift you up then."

Yang grabs Rubies arms and lift her up her back as ruby holds on tightly.
The team walks back to beacon without problems.
Where as team JNPR has their own little adventure.

(Jaune) "NORA!! Go from the left! Its weaker then the right!"
"Ren, use the trees to distract it."
"Pyrrha. Try to cover ren."
(Pyrrha) "alright jaune. But what about you?"
(Nora and Ren) "alright!"
(Jaune) "i'll think of a way to beat this thing before it gets larger."
Nora runs towards the Golem Grimm and curves to the left side as ren jumps from tree to tree shooting its face.
As the Grimm tries to smash Ren, pyrrha jumps in and uses her shield to block the attack. As she gets launched away Jaune holds up his shield and runs backwards a bit making it for pyrrha able to land on his shield.

As soon she lands, she then jumps off back towards the fight launching Jaune backwards in the process.
(Jaune) "PYRRHA!!!"
(Pyrrha) "i'm sorry!"
Laying on the floor as nora smashes a few parts of the Grimms left leg, Jaune tend to stare to the sky.
*why am i weak? I can barely fight, i am cowarding away behind my friends... could ruby be right that other night? Am i better then i think  i am?*
(Ren) "JAUNE! We need assistence!"
The grimm turns to Ren and punches him mid-air right trough a large tree causing severe damage.
(Nora) "REENNN!!"
Nora proceeds to smack the leg and then runs towards Lie Ren in order to help him.
As the Grimm roars and follows her, Pyrrha then comes back in the fight and shoots it several time, drawing its attention on her instead of on Nora.
Jaune stands back up and runs towards the battle.
(Jaune) *alright Jaune! You can do this!  Ruby said i could! Pyrrha said i could! No turning back now! Be their hero Jaune!  Be their he-*
Before finishing his thoughts Jaune runs into the Grimms body and smacks his full face onto the rocks.
Blinded by his raging thoughts, Jaune didn't realise the Grimm was alot closer then anticipated.
Nora smirks without second thought on the sight and Pyrrha looks his away as he slowly steps backwards and falls on his back again.
(Jaune) "hmm..... that hurts...alot."
Pyrrha runs over to him helping him up.
Just in time before the Grimm spots them and turns around.
Nora and Ren in the meanwhile have recovered and charge back at the beast.

This time Nora uses her grenade launcher to shoot several grenades onto the Grimms head causing it to flinch and step backwards.
(Nora) "Ren! I think i cracked something there!"
(Ren) "Good job Nora! I'll go and take it down!"
Nora transforms her weapon back in the warhammer and allows Ren to jump on it.
As she launches him to the Grimm, Ren lands on the shoulder staring at the rock that was supposed to be its head.
It had indeed a few cracks on the Grimm mask.
This would be over soon.
Pyrrha picks up het spear as she helped Jaune to nurse his face a bit and trows the spear at Ren who catches the spear.
(Ren) "thank you!"
(Pyrrha) "you're welcome!"
Ren lifts the spear up as the Grimms right arm raises to hit Ren off of it.
Nora spotting this, runs towards the Grimm and jumps towards the right arm, smashing it in the progress.
(Jaune) "Ren! Stab its face!"
(Ren) "i thought the same"
Ren aims the spear at the Golems face and begins to lunge it into the cracks, causing the Grimm to Roar in pain furiously.
Ren proceeds to do this repeatedly while Nora shoots the Grimm with a few more grenades.

Barely a minute later, the Golem stands still and falls over faceplanting into the ground and starts to dissolve.
Leaving a big pile of rocks and boulders behind the Grimm is gone and team JNPR reunites in front of it.
(Jaune) awsome work you all. Sorry i was not much of a help."
(Nora) "don't be silly you silly willy~ you're our team captain. And your faceplant must have hurt the Grimm to. You got a hard head."
Nora proceeds to flick her finger against jaunes head.
Jaune blushes slightly.
(Jaune) "hahaha uhm... thanks i guess."
(Ren) "nora is right. You gave good directions. And mentioning the left arm being weaker, was some good strategy."
(Jaune) "thanks buddy."
Pyreha punches him softly on the shoulder smiling at him.
(Pyrrha) "great job Jaune."
As team JNPR performs a group hug, they leave the forest a little while later.
Back towards beacon where things are not going the way it should.
