'Everything Will Be Fine' (Rwby Fanfic)

Hey hello, i'm the writer. You can refer me to either Cherry Or Ray.
Remember. This section can contain spoilers for the actual series as i discuss events and situations that i have changed from the original.

I'm going to sometimes post a writers note here.
This is a little in between thing you can read or just skip if you like.

Here i try to explain what i do different from the main canon story as its told by Rooster Teeth.
Here is try to explain events and how they came to be. To avoid confusion or possible hate.
Its an alternate Universe for a reason. Things are different. And for now i explain a few things that happened differently in the past 9 chapters.

This plays AFTER Volume 2. So this is Volume 3 territory.

On to matter that matters most!
Here is a list with questions i am sure rwby fans wonder after reading up to Chapter 9. If none of these questions entered your mind. Well no worries. I made these up myself. If you do have questions. Please do ask. Well from here on possible spoiler territory starts! So get ready!

Q1: Why! Is Roman still doing stuff in Vale after Volume 2? Shouldn't he be caught?

A1: yes. Yes he should. But not this time. Just like the fight with the Paladin and team RWBY, he escaped along with Neo. After the train crashed, right onto the streets of Vale, Roman was woken up by Neo who was in a panic. Demanding to run off.
And so they did.
Therefor, Emerald and Mercury couldn't "arest" him wich i guess was part of the plan to get him on Ironwoods airship so he cud be freed by neo later and take over the airship.

In this case however~ he escaped. And thus Roman and Neo never get on that ship and further Events on that ship (wich i discuss in another writers note later) will NOT happen.

Q2: cinder isn't a transfer student?

A2: no. I am Highly against Rooster teeths descision to make Cinder a fake transfer student. She is CLEARLY in her mid to end 20's and thus too old to be a student from an academy. Remember that ALL characters sofar are at their end teens and/or begin twenties. Cinder is too old and someone should have noticed. So i go this route where they aknowledge that fact and go another route. This leads to Cinder not being able to infiltrate Beacon and thus begin the events in the original series during the Vytal Festival.
Instead, thanks to Romans escape. The Villains made up a NEW plan. The Crystal Grimm. Roman has heard about experiments being done on grimm in the past and decided to look into it himself. Thus finding out they could inject dust in Grimm to enhance them in certain ways.

Q3: Ruby got hurt badly by the Widow. I do not remember a black widow Grimm in RWBY.

A3: true, Good reader. You paid attention~ i added the widow as an additional Grimm to fight against.
It was a nice way to get Ruby badly wounded and in a life threatening situation.
This is just like Rooster teeth does at the moment in later Volumes. Get Ruby to get scarred for life because of certain events. Her mental health is deteriorating. So far up till Volume 7, rooster teeth didnt do alot with it yet. (Except a brief eye discoloration wich i noticed when she found out about her mothers fate)
But i on the other hand... i will go into Rubies mental state. And in that of the other characters too.
Long story short. I'm gonna make events a little more... traumatizing for our Main characters. They are fighting a merciless enemy to prevent a global war after all. People get hurt and Die. Obviously this will leave mental scars

Q4: will things happen during the vytal festival?

A4: yes. But not in the way you might think. After all Roman isn't on the ship and cinder can't enter the school as student.
Thus some things will go different.
But, i will remain true to the original in some regards.
And no. I will NOT write down details about all the fights in the vytal festival. I skip the vytal festival up to the parts where i want to change things. If you wanna know how fights go in the Vytal festival, just look them up on youtube on the original RT channels or website. I keep those fights pretty much the same all the way trough (with exception to the fights that include the villains since they're not in the school)

Q5: what will the future bring? And why do the Chapters take so long?

A5: i do not know yet. I might have to rewatch the volume 3 onward to get more inspiration. I also do not have alot of time as i do alot of things and got a full time job too.
So chapters may get pumped out rather slowly. But i try my best to make them between 2000 and 2500 words long so you all got a little bit of reading to finish a chapter :D
