Chapter 8: The streets of Vale

Yang, blake and weiss wander the streets ever looking into different windows of various stores.
(Blake) "so what do you all think of this one?"
(Yang) "hmm i don't know blake. Green isn't exactly Rubies color."
(Blake) "i thought she liked green as well."
(Weiss) "she only like red, black and violet."
(Yang) "thats oddly specific weiss."
(Blake) "thats true, how do you even know that?"
Weiss looks around in the window quickly as she slightly blushes in emberassment
(Weiss) "h..hey, maybe uhm.. maybe thats something she would like?"
Blake and Yang both look at what weiss is pointing at. A white scarf with small blueish diamonds on the sides.
(Yang) "thats more something you would want weiss."
Blake simply nods in agreement.
(Weiss) "i do not know what you two mean, i'll simply buy it and if she doesn't like it she can return it "
(Yang) "or give it to you."
Blake giggles softly as weiss her face gets reddish.
(Weiss) "At least i got her something yang."
(Yang) "well i'm just not sure what she wants. I mean, she hasn't been awake for a while. I wish i could have protected her. Then nothing of this happened."
(Blake) "Yang... don't beat yourself up about it. We're all to blame for what happened. It was 4 against 1. We should have looked out for each other."
(Weiss) "Blake is right. We could have avoided it. But it was for all of us a first time against a Widow."

Blake and Weiss look a bit uneasy at Yang. It was clear that Yang blamed herself for what happened to Ruby, she was her older sister after all and always tried to protect her as if she was her mother.
As they walked troughout the shoppingstreet quietly, a small group of men dressed in white walked trough the otherwise empty street.
One of the men had black gloves and a skullmask on and opened a door to the book shop not far from them.
The three girls didnt pay it much attention other then a glance until they heard glass breaking.
(Mans voice) "I'm not asking you again old man. Where is that book!."
(Older mans voice) "I don't know what book you mean! There are so many here that are rented daily, what book do you look for? Please... don't break more windows."
(Weiss) "sounds like trouble."
(Yang) "i guess we'll have something to do then?"
(Weiss) "i hope we get it over with soon. I really want to find a good get well present for Ruby before the shops close."
(Blake) "same."
(Yang) "well then lets Roll out!"

As the noise gets louder and several windows from houses across the street open and people look curious towards the shop in hopes to see whats going on, Yang, Blake and Weiss run towards the shop with their weapons ready.
Once at the shop, Yang blasts trough the door and jumps backwards to let Blake and Weiss inside.
The very moment they entered the building 2 men in white attacked them with electrified nightsticks.
Weiss uses dust to create a small ice wall to block the attack as Blake uses her semblance to shadowjutsu behind one of them, kicking him in the back of his knee causing him to fall on the ground.
(Culprit) "AH! Damn it! Someone get this little shit!"
(Blake) "excuse me?"
She hits the men hard on his head and knocks him out as 2 more guys run towards her.
Weiss meanwhile is in a fight with the other guy close at the door, dodging some of the swings he does with the nightstick.
Before the two men in white come even close to Blake, Yang jumps back into the store and blasts both of them away with her gauntlets.
(Yang) " and stay down numbskulls!"

As the fight progresses and more of the gangsters go face down on the floor, the men with the skullmask turn away from the shopkeeper as the last of his men is mashed against the ceiling by Weiss using gravity dust.
(Gang leader) "aren't you all a bit to young to be here fighting my men?"
(Yang) "why would you care?"
(Blake) "leave that shopkeeper alone, Now!"
(Gang leader) "I'm affraid thats not going to happen little lady, you see, my boss needs a specific book and you are kind of in the way of me getting it."
(Weiss) "wich means this will end in a fight doesn't it."
The gangleader takes out a gun with a blade attached to it from behind his back.
(Gang leader) "i can see you're the smart one of the group."
Weiss blushes slightly.
(Weiss) "maybe so, but Yang is the strongest, and she'll have your head if you don't leave right now."
(Yang) "she's right, you're ruining our day of shopping and you're gonna pay for that."
