Chapter 4: worried over a near future

Back at beacon.
Yang and ruby sit on the bench waiting for qrow to arive as they are
Looking around the school perimeter.
(Ruby) "we have been waiting for half a hour now! Where is he?"
(Yang) "relax rubes. He is probably at a liqour store or lost his way around."
(Ruby) that doesn't make any sense! Beacon is the most obvious building in a mile distance!
(Yang) "jaune got lost once though"
(Ruby) "yeah ahm. There you call a name alright."
(Yang) "oh! There he is!"

Yang jumps up and point at the road as qrow walks over the path towards the two girls Followed by ozpin.
(Ozpin) Hello girls, i just had an intresting conversation with your uncle here and he gave me information about your... discovery.
Care to explain qrow?"
(Ruby) "yeah uncle, what did you find?"
Qrow takes his flask out and takes a sip from the alcoholic liqour inside and puts it back.
"Well where to start? I went inside the cave when you two lured the white fang away."
"And there i saw a Grimm. An ursa to be exact. All covered in some shiny crystal."
(Yang) "wait.. a crystalised Grimm?"

(Ozpin) "almost correct miss Xiao Long. But the truth is more terrifying then anyone can imagine. In ancient times many experiments where done. due to documents it was found out that people made liquids from dust by heating it. Though dust is also commonly found in a solid or crystalised form. The white fang must have heated it and injected it into the Grimm, making it generate a crystalised armor around itself."
(Qrow) "i hate to break it to you ozpin but that doesnt make sense. How will it ever move if crystalised?"

Ozpin takes a sip of his coffee and look calm at qrow as he stares at ozpin.
"The injection must have been an overdose. I think if the dose was lower that Grimm would have a stronger crystalised armor instead of their usual armored bodyparts. And would go rampaging in the camp. Thats why it was overdosed. To study."
Yang and ruby look questioning at each other as they both shrug.
(Ruby) "when do we kill it?"
(Qrow) "not now kiddo. We know almost nothing on the power of these new Grimm."
(Yang) "we just smash it hard!"
(ruby) "YEAH!"
(Ozpin) "your enthusiasm is remarkable. Though i cannot allow you two to do as you please. As qrow said. It can be highly dangerous. We will discuss this matter later on in my office."
(Qrow) "agreed. Gotta go kiddo's stay safe alright."

Qrow gives ruby and yang a soft hug before walking away along ozpin as ruby and yang make their way back to their dorm.
(Ozpin) "keep an eye on these two qrow. I have a feeling they will still try to fight this new type of Grimm."
(Qrow) "they certainly where excited to fight it. I'll keep my watch over them."
(Ozpin) "don't forget to salvage information about this Grimm as well. Search places. Ask people ascociating with the white fang or Roman Torchwick."
(Qrow) "wait, hold on. How did you know Torchwick is involved in this?"
(Ozpin) "there are alot of things i know. This particular thing i know of is because he is spotted multiple times along white fang members and a shorter partly pink haired girl with an umbrella."

Back at beacon academy, team rwby's dorm to be specific.
Weiss is silently reading a book about dust mixtures and weaponising them.
As blake read another book as usual.
Ruby and yang walk into the dorm all excited about their trip with qrow as both weiss and blake look up to them.
(Ruby) "and i just jumped away and he knocked his face right up that tree!"
(Yang) "yeah or like when i turn around smashing that guy into the boulder? That was so cool!"
(Ruby) "I know right!?"
(Blake) "back already?"
(Weiss) "yeah what happened?"
(Yang) "you wont believe it!"

All of team rwby sit down at the table as the door gets knocked on.
(Weiss) "its open!"
As team JNPR walks in questioning what the noice was all about yang waves at them to join and starts telling the story about the emerald forest cave they found, and how they distracted the white fang for qrow to infiltrate the place only to find out about the crystal injected Grimm.
