"Black high-waisted shorts or white high-waisted shorts?" Lexi ask. I look at the two shirts she's holding up.
"Black. But I really like the white ones."I reply after a while.
"We taking both then." She says while smiling.
*3 hours later*
Lexi and I are currently seated at some fast food joint talking about nothing in particular. I take out my phone and notice five missed calls! I go to my call log and see that's it's my mom who has been calling.
"Oh crap!"I say.
"What's up?" Lexi asks while eating my fries.
"Five missed calls from my mom" I reply and grab my fries away from her.
"What are waiting for ? Call her before I'm suspected for kidnapping you."
I dial her number.
"Kylie Ann Ross! Where are you? Why did you not answer your cellphone when I was calling?",she says without as much as a hello.
"Calm down mom. I'm at the mall with Lexi and my phone was on silent." I reply quickly without breathing till I'm done.
"Get home soon. We have to discuss something important."
At that moment about a thousand scenarios are running through my mind. Some make me scared like Liam( my younger brother ) is hurt.
I quickly tell Lexi what my mom said and she takes me home. I leave all my bags in Lexi's car. What could my mom possibly want to tell me?
New chapter. Nothing much happening in it though. What do you think Kylie's mom wants to discuss with her. New character - Liam !!
