CHAPTER 4 : THE COUNCIL

"Or may be Mr. mittler wants me to treat his lapdog, so it can learn some manners to take care of house guests" I snapped at him. Before I knew it, I was lifted in the air and thrown out of the room making me land on my ass.

"Tell him I will there in 5 minutes" with that he slammed the door with his powers. I got up angrily to rip his head off but stopped if I created drama here; I may be asked to leave. With that thought I just left from there in order to find mahala.

I have searched every room in the mansion where she might probably be lost her way. I removed my gloves and placed it on the wooden floor, many people have passed this way none of them are wearing her heels so I concentrated more I found her going towards house employee's rooms searching for aartha which are located on the same floor (Yes, I can see through every memory with one touch living or non-living; Boy, she is super dump to be an investigator).

"Mahala, what ur doing here" I asked her with innocent look.

"Can't you see; I am looking for aartha" with her irritated tone.

"This area is for service ppl to live" I told her very slowly

"What! these rooms are for service ppl; man they are rich" with surprise look on her face. "What ur doing here" she questioned me.

"Papa n Mr Mittler are worried about you so they sent me to find you" before I could continue mahala started laughing at me.

"Seriously they sent you after all the ppl on the earth, YOU! To help me?" she continued to laugh.

"I am not the one who can't find my own boyfriend's room" that worked out she stopped laughing and scowl at me for some time before saying "whatever, let's get over with this thing" she muttered in low voice. I gave her right directions to aartha's room and left to library so I can fetch some book. The mittler library is biggest library on this planet (for septanites on this planet) it has got books about entire septanite species incluing every individual name and bio data too. Aartha and I use to spend many evenings here as we both are curious to find out why we have difficulty to go back home. Before I could reach the door, Colten came out of the library in pretty bad shape carrying 6 or 8 books and dropped those books on my feet out of surprise.

"Hey nadia, you look beautiful; Finally, you and aartha resolved your issues; I am so angry on you right now, how could u not speak with rest of us just because you had some silly fight with aartha...." He is going on and on about it without even noticing I got hurt, lucky me got healed immediately.

"Hey colten, nice to see you; I came here to attend council dinner meeting; I went to ur office like 7/8 times but all u guys are always busy with council works roaming around the world, doing road trips, I left messages to call back; guess what I never got any call so if anyone gets right to be angry it should be me" I gave him angry expression..he gave me his best apologetic face.

"Sorry, u know how council wants their work done before deadlines" with apology tone.

"It's okay, I heard you went to investigate about large no of septanites suicides in china" I am curious because not many septanites commit suicide, I know something is wrong by look at Colten he has terrified look on his face (Colten is always fun person who pull pranks on others, now I can see dark clouds over his head)

"It's not suicides they are murdered but the team didn't find any evidence in china or Indonesia, everything is burnt so we are coming up with theories to do investigation" with worried tone.

"What council is thinking to do about the issue" (like, Hello ppl are dying and u are worried about issuing degrees)

"That's y this meeting is arranged nadia, anyways do have any idea where we can find books about keptavas and rinite ppl because I am having problem finding them in library"I noted his voice is serious..
