Joker's Ace (sequel to Joker's weakness)

Chapter 17: Not Impressed

When we got back to the house I grabbed my new stuff and went inside. I sat it on the table where the guys where playing poker. "Look what I got!" I said as I showed them my new clothes. They sighed. "Looks nice." One henchmen said obviously not impressed. "Ace!" I flinched at Jokers loud voice. I looked at him coming down the stairs.

"Where did you go?" He asked. "To-" he didn't let me finish. "Why did you go to the store without my permission? I didn't say you could go! Batman could have found you and killed you! Don't ever do that again! Got it!?" He asked. I shook my head yes. Better to just agree with him then argue. It's not like it would change anything. "As for you! Come with me!" Joker said to Twitch as he went outside. Twitch followed him outside. "Why'd you guys tell him I left?" I asked "We didn't your all over the news." A henchmen replied as he turned the T.V on.

It was already on the news channel. "Looks like there is another Joker's daughter in town. But we aren't sure if she or the other Joker's daughter want to be is actually related to the Joker himself. Because the last thing we need is mini Jokers. These two girls are both dangerous. The first one that claimed to be his daughter is far more dangerous. Warning what you are about to see is quite disturbing." The news lady said. The T.V then changed to a secretary video of the girl blowing someone's brains out.

"As for the other girl which we still don't know the name of she robbed a Macy's store with a gun. She was with another man. But not Joker." The lady said. Then a video of me was on. It was me when I was in the store. I had clothes in my hands and was walking out of the store. Then another video came up. It was me breaking the display class of a store for the green jacket. I then threw an ace card on the floor. I turned off the T.V.

"Hey! I wanted to see the rest. It's the first time you rob a place and didn't get caught." I turned around and Joker was standing right in front of me with his arms crossed. I took a step back so we weren't that close. "You know if you wanted to rob a place you could have just asked me. Speaking of which I'm going out tonight and you have to come since you think it's so fun to rob places. I'll show you how it's really done." He told me.

"But what about Batman? You said-" he cut me off. "Yeah I know what I said. I'm not gonna let that bat touch you because your gonna stay right by my side the whole time. Got it?" He told me. I shook my head yes. Again It's probably not the best time to argue with him right now. Like I said It's not like it would change anything. Joker always gets what he wants. "Good. Now go get ready." He said then went upstairs. I looked back at the henchmen that where staring at me. Twitch came back inside. I picked up my stuff from the table and went upstairs.
