Chapter 19: Define Fun

As I walked downstairs I hoped I didn't fall since I had these shoes with heels. Yet again the henchmen stare at me. "I did a good job with your hair. Didn't I?" Twitch said. I nodded. He smiled. "Ok now it's-" I turn around to see Joker coming downstairs staring at me. "You look almost as good as me." He said with a smile. He then looked at his henchmen. He stopped smiling then turned all serious. "Like I was saying it's time to go." He said then walked out the door. I followed him out into a van.

We both sat in the back. "Is this going to be like last time? Because if it is you can just l leave me here." I said. "It's going to be nothing like last time." He replied. "Promise?" I asked. He smiled. "Why? Are you afraid that I'm gonna have to carry you like a baby like last time?" He asked. I sighed. Did he really have to bring that up. "No." I muttered as I looked out the window. "If I tell you how somethings going to go that's how it's going to go. Nothing else." He told me. I continued to look out the window. I hate looking at him when he talks to me. Feels like he's looking into my soul. All I did was look out the window the whole ride.

When we got to wherever the hell we where going I got out of the van. We where In the mall parking lot. Uh okay. All of the henchmen got out of the other vans. He brought all of his henchmen so this must be something big. Joker grabbed a huge gun from his henchmen before heading for the mall. "So your gonna rob a mall?" I asked. "We're gonna rob a mall." He corrected. Of course I am. When we walked inside Joker shot his gun at the roof to let people know we where there. I flinched when he did that. I was right next to him so it was loud.

"Get everyone in the middle of the mall." Joker told his henchmen. They nodded then left. Joker looked at me then smiled. "This is going to be fun." He said. There he goes again telling me it's going to be fun. "Your definition of fun isn't ever fun." I replied. "Oh, it will be. That I will promise." He told me. People started to gather in the middle of the mall. They all looked scared. Some where shaking and crying. Some where just crying. Some where just shaking of fear. I know that feeling to well. Being afraid for my life.

Joker turned to look at something but I just stood there looking at the afraid people. He suddenly grabbed my arm and pulled me with him. "Remember when I told you to stay close to me?" He asked a bit mad. "Um yeah." I replied. "Then why didn't you listen?" He asked. "You where like 5 feet away." I replied. "Batman could have grabbed you when you where only 5 feet away. Do you want him to kill you?" He asked. I shook my head no. "You don't want me telling you again. Got it?" He asked. I shook my head yes. "What?" He asked. "Yes. Okay Joker." I replied getting bit mad myself. "Good now come here I found something you'll like." He said then pulled on my arm again.

He let go of my arm and looked at a stand with necklaces. He then picked one out. "You like the Ace of diamonds right?" He asked. "Yes." I replied. He showed me the necklace of a Ace of diamonds card. He took it out of the package and put it on me. I fixed my hair. A henchmen came out to Joker. "We got everyone." He told Joker. "Great now the fun begins." Joker said then walked back to the people. I followed him real close.
