Chapter 47: How Did I Do?

The copy of me walked over to Joker's side. She put her arm over him. "I knew you'd believe me dad." She said. He thought for a second then stopped pointing the gun at me. He looked over at her with a big smile. "Joker you aren't serious are you?" I asked. He completely ignored me.

"Of course I knew it was you." Joker said to her as he was about to hug her but instead quickly snapped her neck. Making her die instantly. I gasped backing up. Her lifeless body dropped on the floor. He looked back at me. "Now we have to hurry before-" Joker was cut off. "Before what?" A dark voice asked. Batman dropped down right in front of us.

"Always have to make an entrance don't we?" Joker said then laughed. Batman looked at my double me on the ground. "I'd love to stay but as you can see we don't have time for interruptions." Joker told Batman as he held his gun up to shoot him. "No don't!" I said. But I was to late Joker already shot him in the chest.

I heard the sirens outside. Joker turned to everyone. I knelt down to Batman's side. "Come on it's just a bullet you've had worse." I said as I shook him. I heard the doors bust open. "Move and we will shoot!" A officer yelled. I looked up to see Joker with his hands up but he still had the gun in his hand. "Drop it!" Another cop yelled.

Surprisingly he actually dropped it. I stood up. The henchmen looked at each other confused but they also dropped their weapons. "We're giving up?" I whispered to Joker. "On your knees!" I cop yelled at Joker. They came a little closer to us. Joker did what he was told. There was six police pointing their guns at Him.

They all looked at each other. "Check him." One officer said to the other. The officer shook his head no. "Afraid I'll bite?" Joker asked then laughed. "You do it." The head officer said as he looked over to me. Confused I pointed to myself. "Me?" I asked. "Yeah you heard me." He replied. "He wouldn't hurt you." Other police said. "I don't know will he?" I muttered as I slowly walked over to Joker.

"Make sure he doesn't have any guns or sharp objects." The police said. "I still don't understand why you are having me do this." I say as I stand in front of Joker. "He. Won't. Kill. You." The dumb cop replied in a sarcastic tone. I looked at the cop. "Your dumbass don't know that." I said then looked back at Joker.

I opened his coat to find a nice little hand gun. I looked at it then glanced at Joker. He had a big grin. "Do what you want." He whispered in my ear. I grabbed it from him and turned to the police. "He's got this." I say and hold it up. "Give it here." The cop said as he held his hand out. I shrugged then walked over to him.

As I got closer to the cop I realized he had his gun now pointed to me. "Really?" I asked. He lowered his gun and so did the other police. "You think I'm gonna hurt you?" I asked as I held out the gun for him to take. He was about to grab the gun but i shot him and the two cops that where closest to him.

"Drop it!" The other three police said. I sighed as I threw it. Making it slide over to Joker. The cops attention where now on Joker. I grabbed the gun twitch gave me and shot the other three cops. I looked over at Joker he stood up clapping his hands. "How did I do?" I asked. I then noticed Batman was gone.

A gun shot was heard but I didn't know where it came from. Joker's smile was gone. I was afraid he was shot until I looked down at myself. It was me that was shot. I fell to my knees. I was shot on the side of my stomach. I laid on the floor as everything got blurry. I seen Joker try running to my side but was stopped by more cops. Then everything went dark.
