My precious melody, she has so much faith in her father. We will have to tell her sooner or later. "It's nothing darling, did Shawn stay over?" As the words left my mouth the tall figure comes down the staircase and greets my husband and myself. "Okay well we have to go, we're running late. Love you"
* Melody's POV *
"He's cheating on her" "wait, what?" Shawn is clearly confused with my random outburst. "I used my dad's phone to research something and I saw him talking to another woman" there's an awkward silence. I don't blame Shawn for being speechless. How do you make this situation easier for someone? "Are you sure baby? What if it was your mom?" "It was a different number and different profile, I didn't expect it either" I can feel a lump in my throat growing and before it stumbles out and I sob in his car we arrive at school. My mind is at ease knowing Jake starts today as well. "It will be alright Angel"
