* Melody's POV *
After talking my morning away with Jake I headed off to first period and let him settle in. I walk into class and sit down and hear the girls discussing what they're going to wear this Friday. "What do you think you're going to wear Mel?" "Well, I'm thinking just jeans and a crop? Not going all out" I never see the point on putting extreme effort into parties such as Candice's if I'm just going there to get drunk and go home. The girls are still deciding. They usually make big deals out of these things. I don't really get along with candice considering she is interested in Shawn even though he rejects her every time. She's a nice girl but she isn't called the schools hand out for nothing. She has a reputation for stealing boyfriends, yet again she can't be blamed. She does think Shawn is single.
We're in reading, students are meant to read their assigned books for English but instead everyone talks bullshit. I miss Shawn. I pick up my phone and at that thought I see I have a message from him
Shawn: where were you this morning???
Mel: I was with Jake
* Shawns POV *
She finally fucking replies. She was with Jake. The 'best friend' after knowing how kyle wants Mel back I trust no guy with Mel. She's beautiful, a lot of guys like her and them not knowing she is with me doesn't benefit me at all. I need to tell people.
