Marathon 5/5
I woke up in a white dress. Sun shining through the windows. It was beautiful inside. I wasn't sure if I was dead. I stood up. There were candles around the room. I opened the door. I heard music. "Nick? " I called out. "Is anyone here? " I asked out loud. The music got louder. I saw Nick in a black tux. It felt like I couldn't move. I walked slowly over to him. He smiled and got down on one knee. Tears formed in my eyes. He reached in his pocket and pulled out a box. He opened the box, it had a beautiful diamond ring inside. "Oh my God. " I said softly.
"Mackenzie Ashley Smith.. Will you marry me?" Nick asked me. Tears fell out of my eyes. I fell to my knees. "Yes. " I said as he put the ring on my finger. We both stood up and kissed. Tears streamed down our faces. I hugged him. Everyone cheered. Demi started planning right away. 3 months is long enough right? It would Just be a small wedding. With Nick's family. Demi, for sure. After a minute of silence I wiped my tears of happiness from my face. "Merry Christmas baby. " Nick said kissing my forehead.
"Merry Christmas. " I said burying my face into his neck. "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you. " Nick said whispering in my ear. I smiled at him. Kevin and Dani congratulated us and had to go pick up Alena. Joe went home. Demi walked into the living room. She was smiling. "I got Mackenzie to ride a bus on the tour!" Nick and I stared at each other. "The same bus! " Demi said. "Ahhh! " I yelled. "You know you love me... " Demi said smiling. "I do love you." I said hugging her. "I love you so much." Nick said.
"Nick, I love you too." I said. "You're so beautiful. " Nick said smiling at me. I smiled back. I sat on his stomach. I kissed him. "Okaaay..." Demi said covering her eyes. "I mean, good job Nick, but please don't have sex in front of me." Demi said peeking through her eyes. "Why, you're not enjoying the show?" I asked her smiling at Nick. "Umm.. " Demi said laughing. Nick grabbed my ass. I was still turned around from Nick looking at Demi. I scooted back on his crotch. I got off of Nick. "Demi, we're going to the beach. You wanna come with? " I asked her. "No, you guys need alone time. " She said sweetly.
" Aw. Demi are you sure? I mean.." I asked her. "I'm sure. " Demi said. We hugged Demi goodbye. We drove. There was music, and Joe's ' Cake by the Ocean ' song was on. Nick and I couldn't help laughing. We ended up not having it, and just taking a nice walk on the beach. Nick and I watched the sun set. I yawned. I put my hands in his jacket, trying to get more warmth.. "Let's go home. We're both tired." Nick said. I nodded. I fell asleep in the car. The only other thing I remember is Nick and I laying in bed and him holding me like he was going to lose me...
