Marathon 3/5
Nick was very busy planning for the future now tour. He hadn't been home in 3 days. I missed him. I got up lazily from my bed and started to make some coffee. I filled Batman's food and water and got ready for work. Yes, I have a job. I'm the person you see when you pull up to the drive thru at McDonald's. Yep. Nick was on his lunch break now. It was 12:26pm. I was at the window to give the next person their food. It was Nick in his car. I heard a bunch of girls scream in the background. Nick told me to hold his food and he would come inside. All of the girls surrounded him by the door. Nick never went anywhere like a restaurant without his security. Nick signed autographs, took pictures. I managed to get to Nick, through the screaming girls.
"Hey baby. " He said as he hugged me. "Hey. " I said as a held him tight. Everyone awed. Nick smiled and kissed me. Nick and I sat down to eat our lunch together. I looked down. I wanted to ask him about the tour. "What's up princess? " Nick said kicking me under the table playfully. I sighed and closed my eyes.
"How is the tour? " I asked him. "It's.. exiting. I dont want to leave you baby." Nick said softly. "I know. I dont want you to leave me alone for 3 months. " I said looking down. "Dont worry about it. We'll figure something out." He said. I tried to hold in my sadness. It always didn't stay in. Nick and I finished eating. "No, I'll pay. " Nick said. I glared at him. "Nick.." I said, grabbing his ass when I hugged him. "Mmkay." Nick said smiling.
We got in the car. We got home. I think I might've turned Nick on, by grabbing his ass. He kissed me roughly. "Nick... " I said between kisses. "Mm.. " He said. He didn't want to stop. "Nick. Please. I'm tired and I need to give batman food. " I said as Nick basically shoved his tongue down my throat. "Is this about the tour? Are you mad at me? " Nick said frustrated. " Why would I be mad at you? " I asked him. His phone rang. He walked into the other room, like it was a secret. I sighed and walked up stairs. I got on my phone and scrolled through my feed. "How to know if your boyfriend is cheating on you." was the title. I ignored the post. Nick walked back into the kitchen. "What was that? " I asked him. "The tour. We don't know if we can get you a bus. " He said. "Great. " I said throwing my phone down on the couch. "Babe. " Nick said rubbing his hand on my back.
I slapped his hand off. "How are we supposed to be together if you're traveling around the world?!" I yelled at him. He looked surprised. "We will be. " Nick said, with a look of concern in his eyes. "No, we really won't. You'll be with Demi. Not me. Spending time with Demi, Demi did this. We did this together." I said. He rubbed his hand on my shoulder. "I need to go." I said. "Where the hell are you going?!" Nick asked me throwing his hands up in the air. "I dont know. I'll drive until I find out. " I said sharply and slammed the door behind me.
Christmas was in two days. I went to the mall, the library, and last I went to the ice cream shop. I hadn't dared to look at my phone. But I did. 12 texts from Nick. He said he was sorry, and he loved me. In like 2 paragraphs. I put my phone down. I saw Joe. He walked towards me smiling.
He sat in the chair. "Hey. " He said. "Hey.. " I said softly. Before he could say anything, I took a big deep breath and told him about Nick and I fought, where I went and how aggravated I was. He took a deep breath. He looked me in the eyes. "I know it's frustrating. Not everyone agrees with everyone. I will be here with you while Nick is on tour. I'll be going to one in Florida. But I'll be back soon after that. It'll be okay." He said softly while smiling. I smiled, knowing if I couldn't go, Joe would be here. "Thank you Joe." I said licking the last of my ice cream off of my spoon. We hugged each other. I got in my car. I knew Nick and I were going to forgive each other. I got him like a $120 watch. He probably didn't even think of it.
I finally arrived home and saw Nick. I could tell he'd been waiting. He looked down. I set my keys down on the kitchen table, along with my purse. I picked batman up, still not saying a word. I kept the watch in my secret hiding place. I looked around and Nick had decorated for Christmas. "Well look at you." I said walking over to him. He stayed silent. "Nick. " I said leaning down to kiss his stomach. He wanted it... But maybe we needed to talk first. I took off my Jacket. "Dont ever leave me like that. Not knowing where you are or what you're doing, if you're safe. "I'm sorry. " I said. He smirked. "Me too. " He said and with that, we finally kissed. We snuggled for a while and watched Christmas movies. We made out a few times. I yawned. "Do you want me to turn it off so we can go to bed? " Nick asked me. "Sure. " I said heading up the stairs. We got to the bed when I tackled Nick. And we fell asleep.
