Brendon's POV

I love Pete and all, but sometimes I want to punch him in the face. Why won't he just let me know what is going on?

When I came into his room, he was all twisted up in his bed sheets. He was crying out Patrick's name, and was actually crying. Then, he started screaming, and kicking. That was when I tried to wake him up.

What scared me the most, was a split second before he woke up. I was yelling his name, and all of the sudden, he went silent. His body shook once, like he had been shot. Before I could react, he was up and awake.

Now he refuses to tell me what happened? Fuck that!

Pete was grabbing a new shirt and pants. Did he sleep in those clothes? That reminded me of something.

"You know, it is funny. In my dream you were wearing those exact same clothes. Coincidence, right?" I asked, laughing a little. Pete stilled, and looked at me. He gave me a weak smile, and nodded.

"Yeah. I am going to take a quick shower, so give me ten minutes." Pete said, before running into the bathroom. Not wanting to stay in his bed while he was in the shower, I shouted through the door that I was heading back to my room. Pete didn't respond, but I am assuming that he heard me.

I walked back to my room, and went into the bathroom. I had my glasses on, because I was too lazy to put on contacts. I fixed my hair a little bit, and adjusted my shirt. I was hoping that I could convince Pete to go out into town with me.

Last night, when I walked in, he seemed really tense. Well, obviously he was tense for another reason, hence the gun, but he looked really unhappy.

I really hope that the police can find Patrick soon. I know that Patrick is the surefire way to get Pete happy again, he always is. Hell, Patrick's presence in a room can brighten Pete up quicker than anything I have ever seen.

Pete really loved Patrick. I haven't talked to Patrick about it yet, but I am pretty sure that he really liked Pete a lot as well.

I was still pretty curious about what was in Pete's dream. Well, I was also concerned about it, but more curious.

Obviously Patrick was in it. Based on how red Pete got when he woke up, I would say that it was a wet dream with him, but I don't think so.

Pete was really scared. He was completely shaken up afterwards, as well.

What had happened to Patrick in the dream?

I was interrupted out of my thoughts by my phone ringing. I grabbed it, and checked caller I.D. It was Andy. I answered it, deciding that I would leave out a few details in my report.

"Good morning," I greeted. I could hear multiple voices in the background, they must be out in public.

"Joe, turn off the TV, I am trying to talk to Brendon-" Andy said, clearly not to me. The voices disappeared, and I heard Joe's voice.

"You are talking to Brendon? Put him on speaker phone, I want to say hi!" Joe exclaimed. I heard Andy muttering something to himself.

"Bren, you are on speaker, Joe is here," Andy said. I smiled.

"Hi, Joe."

"Brendon! How is Glenview?" Joe asked. Before I could respond, Andy cut in.

"More importantly, how is Pete? Have you found him?"

"Yup. I am with him. Well, he isn't in the room right now, but I got a motel room right across from him. He is just getting ready right now."

"How is he doing?" Joe asked. I bit my lip.
"He is pretty messed up. Like, nothing major-" I am not going to tell them about the gun-chick until I know more about her, "But he is really upset. Honestly, I can't tell when the last time he has slept was." I paused. "Well, I came to wake him up this morning, but he was having this horrible nightmare." Andy and Joe started talking at the same time, and I was unable to understand either of them. "I am not going to go into detail, but I was kind of scared myself."

There was a knock at my door.

"Guys, I think that is him. I am just going to go around town with him, give him a break from everything. I will update tonight." I promised, and hung up. I knew that both Andy and Joe would be annoyed, but I didn't want to keep Pete waiting.

Part of me was worried that he would take off at any moment. I briefly considered getting him a leash.

It was times like this that I forgot that he was nearly ten years older than me. I almost felt like his older brother right now.

Pete just needed help. And Patrick. He needed Patrick.

Well, we all did.

I opened the door, to reveal a smiling Pete. I could already tell that his smile was completely fake, but I tried to not read too much into it.

"Want to go around town? I know a really cool park, and then a bar." Pete asked. I nodded and shut the door behind me.

"Lead the way!" I tried to say cheerfully.
