Pete's POV

Getting shot didn't hurt. It was loud, but it didn't hurt. I looked around the room. I was still conscious, and there was no pain.

Something was off though.

I looked down at my wrist.

There was no rope tying it.

I was in my own world for a few seconds, because I was oblivious to everything that was going on.

There was shouting, and there were more gunshots. I heard bodies hit the floor. When I heard Patrick scream, that was when I woke up out of the trance.

Everyone was fighting. Patrick had the gun aimed at a man, while Natasha knocked out another.

Two men ran towards me, so I scrambled off of the chair, going backwards. I dodged a punch, and kicked one of the men in the stomach. He stumbled backwards, and I pushed the other guy away from me. I threw a few punches, and hit one of them in the crotch. I hit the first guy, but he blocked it and hit me in the face.

Grunting in pain, I stumbled backwards. The other guy hit me in the stomach. I dodged their punches, getting against the wall. One of them tried to hit me in the face, but I moved at the last minute, causing him to hit the cement wall at full force.

That is when I took my chance, and started punching back. I clawed one of their faces, and pushed him away from me.

It took a while for both of them to go down, but finally they were on the ground. I ran over to where Natasha and Patrick were fighting side by side.

There were bodies. At least three of them, all with gunshot wounds. I felt sick, until I noticed who the last one left was.

K.

He was on the ground, and spat some blood out onto the floor.

Patrick was staring at him with a stony look, the gun aimed at his face. K let out a low chuckle.

"You know he had to die. He had gone against us, and refused to kill you. Plus, you killed his father." K said. Natasha walked over to him and put her foot on his chest, pressing down.

"You killed Lukas. I think that what I am about to do is pretty justified." Patrick said. Natasha leaned down until she was right up in K's face, her hair dangling in his face.

"This is for Lukas, you bitch." She hissed, letting her boot dig into K's chest even more.
I was unable to look away.

Finally, Natasha stepped away, and nodded at Patrick.

Without hesitating, Patrick pulled the trigger and shot K. A hole appeared in the middle of his forehead, blood already gushing out.
Patrick dropped the gun instantly, his hands shaking. Natasha stepped out of the room, and looked around.

"Police are coming. We have to get out of here." Natasha said. She looked over at me. "Pete, you okay?" Patrick looked over at me, and walked over. I tried to not pay attention to the bodies he stepped over to get to me.

"Pete?" His voice was gentle, but I was still scared. He was about to shoot me. He did shoot people. I feel like I don't even know who he is any more. "Pete, are you okay?" Once Patrick had reached me, he gently grabbed my hand. "We need to go, okay? Come on, we can talk once we are gone."

I squeezed his hand gently, and let him lead me out of the room.
