Chey would head down the steps having heard him call but didn't care to turn around. "Hah yeah, new guy telling me my relationship is unstable, funny." She'd reach the main floor. Lucifer would rush down the stairs after her. "Chey!" She'd groan annoyed and would turn. "What? What could it possibly be new guy?" He'd tense up a bit eyeing her gaze. It had hate in it, he didn't like it, odd. "What I'm telling you is true..I went to a bar with Derek, Connor, and Luke." Chey would furrow her brow. "Okay so you know his friends and his name. Big whoop." He'd sigh and hold his brow for a moment. "That's not what I'm trying to say. Derek said that you are too work orientated-" "He says that all...no, okay he says that lucky guess." She'd head out of the lobby doors. "Wha- Chey!" He'd rush our after. "Why won't you-" "Believe you?! Because all you've done is burden since you arrived this morning!" He'd stop in his tracks eyeing her. "I didn't intend-" "Just stay out of matters that aren't yours to deal with!" She'd open her car door getting in. Lucifer would stand vigil outside the dormitory. "Chey just listen.." She'd not hear him as she drove off. Lucifer would tighten his fist and turn hitting a wall angrily. "The main issue is that nobody ever listens!" He'd walk back into the dormitory lobby, sitting on the couch.

Chey would arrive at the restaurant early, not waiting for Derek at her dormitory, fretting that Lucifer may still be around. She'd texted him to just meet her at the place. Derek would walk in forcing a smile. "Ah, there you are. Something happen? Your text was rather insistent on staying away from the dormitory." She'd sigh. "No, I'm fine. Just Lucifer was bugging me. But it's all good nod." Derek would furrow his brow. "Oh yeah? What he say?" He'd sit at the table. She'd chuckle. "He said you wanted to cheat on me." Derek would force a chuckle. "Oh wow, daft bastard hit his head did he?" Chey would nod. "Seems to be so, what might yo-" "Listen I may have to leave dinner early, got a bit of a hold up on a project for history." Chey would nod slightly. "Okay..wait did you have a drink with Lucifer earlier?" Derek would nod. "Mhm, Connor and Luke were with us. He seems...rather..bold yknow?" Chey would chuckle. "Uhuh." She'd order herself a water. Derek would sit back a bit in his chair. "It really is nice to just have a calm laid back night out." Chey would nod. "Mhm, definitely after the day I've had." She'd push some hair from her face. Derek would chuckle. "Ah yeah, excuse me a moment, going to use the restroom." He'd take his phone from his pocket, leaving it on top of his coat. Chey would nod and thank the waiter once her water arrived. She'd hear his phone ding and would half glance over. There was a message notification, a preview following beneath. She'd furrow her brow before leaning over to get a close look. "Can't wait to see you, going to be a fun night.." She'd furrow her brow and sat back up hearing him come back. Derek would eye his phone and would turn it off quickly. "Alrighty, so what are we-" "Derek.." he'd eye her stopping his sentence. "Yeah?" She'd stand. "I wish you well on later tonight." He'd furrow his brow. "What do you mean." She'd shake her head. "You could've just told me.." Her gaze would turn from him. Derek would eye her. "So your nosey too, going through my phone?" He'd sound annoyed. She'd glance over. "The notification had a preview of the message, I just glanced over." He'd scoff a bit and stood up. "What a lovely way to end the evening." She'd slim her gaze to hold back her emotions. "Just...you two can deserve each other." She'd say dryly before heading out quickly. She'd get in her car without a word more and drove back to campus. He'd stand in the restaurant. "God damn you Lucifer.."
Chey would pull into the lot outside and would walk in tensing up once in the lobby. Lucifer would have dozed off a bit, head resting on the back of the couch. She'd walk over and kick his leg lightly to wake him. He'd jolt up and would eye her. "Oh, back so soon? I thought you and prince charming were on an extravagant way to happiness." She'd stay quiet, keeping her gaze lowered. He'd sit back not noticing her posture. "And now that you know-" "Y-You were right okay? There...have the satisfaction of being right.." Lucifer would turn his gaze to her. "Chey?" She'd shake her head and would head over to the elevator pressing the button. He'd furrow his brow and would stand. "Chey!" She'd step into the elevator and would push the button before wiping her gaze. He'd feel a pang of guilt, she was crying. "Chey wait I do-" the elevator door would shut. He'd growl a bit and would start up the stairs. She'd walk out of the elevator after it opened and to her room swiftly, opening the door, walking in, then locking it. Lucifer would reach the floor her dorm was on and would rush over knocking on the door. "Chey! Don't- Chey open the door!" She'd sit on her couch curling her knees up. "No!" He'd stop knocking on the door. Uriel would appear behind him. "I told you-" "Bloody hell stay away!" He'd glare to Uriel. "I will do as I please here without a little bird whispering what I should think!" Uriel would roll his gaze. "Fair enough.." he'd diminish. "Chey.." Lucifer would look back to the door. "Just open up already!"
