Lucifer would reach down and quickly took her hand. He'd pull her up easily and Chey was laughing immediately as she'd catch her breath. He'd furrow his brow. "What the hell!?" Chey would splash him. "You were so scared mister 'no sharks in the water'!" Lucifer would puff out his cheeks. "Don't do that..!" He'd eye her. Chey laughed and splashed him again before her foot touched something. She'd squeal and swam into his arms swiftly. Lucifer chuckled and poked the object with his foot. The object moved about then came above water. It'd splash water in Chey's face, a sea turtle. Chey would push Lucifer away then chuckled as the turtle swam away. "Aww-" She'd be tackled and Lucifer chuckled as he'd let her go. Chey would go to tackle him back before hearing a whistle from the shore blow. "You're both too far out!" The man would yell. Lucifer eyed Chey and swam back in, wading out with her. Chey would stretch and pushed her hair out of her face before walking back to their umbrella. She'd sit down and took a book out of her bag. Lucifer raised a brow. "It's a beautiful day, and you're still going to study..?" Chey chuckled. "Not study, just enjoy a book." She'd roll her gaze playfully. Lucifer would raise a brow then shrugged and stood behind her, eyeing the pages. Chey eyed up. "Would you like a book too..?" Lucifer shook his head. "Er no.." he'd eye away and kicked some sand. "I can get us ice cream?" He'd offer. Chey would give a small nod. "Sure, vanilla please." Lucifer chuckled and would start walking. Chey wouldn't even look up from her book. "Buy it don't flirt your way to it!" Lucifer would turn back in a half walk then chuckled. "Yes ma'am..." he'd grab some money from his bag and then walked back over. He'd then tense up as he approached the stand, time slowing. "And you're here why..?" He'd raise a brow and turned to Uriel. Uriel would chuckle. "This is cute..taking little pancake to the beach...-" "Leave her bust out of this, why are you even lookin-" "Not my point dear brother.." he'd chuckle and crossed his arms. "Dad will let you stay if you give up on the girl.." Lucifer would shake his head. "As if..." he'd begin to push past him but Uriel grabbed the collar of his shirt. "You only have so many warnings.." he'd let go and disappeared. Lucifer rolled his gaze. 'So many warnings..pfft...' He'd buy the ice cream and walked back to Chey. Chey smiled and took hers. "And you paid?" She'd raise a brow. Lucifer chuckled. "Yes mom.." he'd sit and began to eat his. Chey would chuckle and did the same.

It'd been about 3 more hours, the sky beginning to get dark. Chey had decided to invite him on a walk. "So, do you get to see things like this in hell..? Like sunsets and stuff." Lucifer shook his head. "I hardly get a wick of natural light there.." Chey nodded and then looked ahead. "Well maybe you can take a picture to remember it." Lucifer would close his gaze at the word remember. "I could take a picture but I'm not leaving Chey.." Chey would eye him. "I know..I er..slid of the tongue sorry.." Lucifer would nod and then would put his arm around her shoulder. She'd tense a bit but then settled. "I know it's a bit early but I'm a bit hungry heh.." Lucifer eyed her from the corner of his gaze. "We could find something on the boardwalk? Or we could go out somewhere formal.." Chey chuckled. "No no, no need to spend that amo-" "You're worth it, formal then?" She'd flush and froze up. "Er..sure..any place in mi-" "The new Italian place just opened on the corner of Terry Street downtown." Chey would furrow her brow. "Angelo's..that place is like..a fortune.." Lucifer chuckled. "But you can't go wrong with the food.." Chey sighed. "Okay fine, but we split the check." "Nope." "I pay a third?" "No." "A fourth-" "No, not a penny.." Chey puffed up her cheeks. "You're so difficult.." She'd chuckle. He'd shrug. "Not the first time I've heard those words."
