Chapter 5

So obsessed with this song

She had been at homeland for 2weeks learning about the world and its creations. But even though she was new species most avoided her or just stared. She had known she was different from the others but she was starting to feel uncomfortable here,like she didn't belong.

After settling in justice North had called a small meeting and had asked her to pick a name. He hadn't pushed but she knew he needed one soon.

Honestly she didn't know if she wanted a name. She had never made a decision in her life how was she supposed to pick something that would last her forever.

But she had gone threw hell to get to were she was and she would be damed if she let a name get in the way of her happiness.

She had tried over the last week!! to find a name even some of the females tried to help.to no avail none of them stuck.

Over the week she had also learned of another place were new species lived called reservation. She had tried to gather as much information about the place while trying not to raise  suspicion.

Apparently reservation was for new species that showed more animal traits then others.

I was lost in thought when there was a nock at my door I got up from my seat on the couch and opened the door.

I smiled as Ellie walked in. she was the house mother and also the mate to Fury. She was one of the nice humans, I trusted her even though I was still uncertain about the others. I hated to admit it but I would never feel comfortable around humans ever again. I had suffered too much at the hands of them.

I let Ellie inside not wanting to be rude.

"How are you doing?" Ellie asked sounding a little concerned.

"I'm fine" I said in a cheerful tone trying to sound as innocent as possible.

Trying to change the subject I said "I was wondering if you could tell me more about reservation"

Ellie looked strangely at me "well it has two parts the wild zone. where the  new species with more pronounced animal DNA live in peace in solitude. And then there is just the hotel and clubhouse and a cupple other buildings we are expanding soon".

"Why don't I live there? I have heard people talking about my pronounced animal DNA"

She looked taken aback by the question "well you are a gift you could get scared out there all by yourself surrounded by big males". "No species female lives there alone without a mate to protect them from the other new species males"

"Are they dangerous" I asked suddenly fearful

"Yes but they wouldn't hurt you but they might want to..." She hesitated "breed with you"

"Oh" was all I could muster

Ellie left shortly after that saying something about "having lunch with her mate and son"

I sat in my room thinking over what she had said I didn't want to be bred I was not ready but I wanted to get out. Get out of homeland because here I was stared at I tried to ignore it but as much as I tried I couldn't hide the fact I had a tail and I was more pronounced than most.

I got up from the couch and I made a promise I would not sit at home feeling sorry for myself. I would go to the gym and practice every day and get stronger. so that when I went to the wild zone. because I would go, I would be strong and able to defend myself from everyone.

I know it was short I'm trying to get out better chapters but I'm at a little bit of a writers block any ideas would be great
