5 months later

Left, right, left, jab,left, right, left, jab
I repeated the combo over and over hitting the centre spot again and again.

This is were I had spent every morning and afternoon for the past 2 months. Training,preparing I had made good on my promise never again being weak and helpless.

Sweating and panting I walked over to the bench taking a large drink from my water bottle. I was currently In the public training facility. Surprisingly not many came here. Crossing the room I jumped and grabbed onto one of the low beams connecting to the sealing and did pull-ups.

The room was designed this way because in the cells most new species did pull-ups from the bars above. I was in my 50s when the door opened to revel Breez. She walked over to me and said
"You look awful!"
It was true though i had a split lip and a bruise covering my lower cheek. Every week in the men's dorm in the basement they hold fights for fun of course. No one ever got to hurt but it was a place where you could bet on who is going to win the fight. if you want to blow off steam this was the best way to do it. I was a regular at first they didn't except me because I was a gift but I got them to see reason.

Flash back——————————————

I walked into the men's dorm fully aware  that I was not suppose to be here
I got a lot of weary glances and stares but no one approached. I walked down the corridor to the left and turned into a stare well that led to the basement. There was loud cheering and yelling.

Due to my smaller size I Slipped through the crowed quite easily standing at the front I could see a mix of males and females in the audience. As I focused on the fighters I saw it was flame vs hero.

fame was much smaller than hero but what he lacked in size he made up for in speed he dogged Hero's punches. Kicking a foot out he tripped hero but as flame turned around hero kicked flames legs out from under him sending him crashing into the floor hero quickly pinned him and with that hero had one the match.

Hero was the undefeated champion and it was he I would have to ask to join the fights.

I approached him after the match
" excuse me hero?" I said tapping his shoulder
"Yes" he said politely
"vs me next" I stated staring him strait in the eyes

Everyone went silent and all eyes were on us.
He looked wary and a bit taken aback but he sighed knowing a challenge was a challenge and said slowly
"If you wish"

I lost that fight but after it hero taught me trained me everyday. And a week ago I beat hero, the student had bested the master.

Breez snapped her fingers in front of my face. 
"Hello anyone in their?" She commented sounding frustrated
"Uhh sorry I spaced out" I said sheepishly
"It's fine I said I arranged a meeting with you and justice"
My head snapped to hers "really!" I said starting to get really exited

I had been trying to get a hold of either justice or fury to see if I could transfer to the wild zone. It's not like anyone here is mean it was just my more pronounced gens made me stand out. specially with my tail.

"Ya I scheduled it for tomorrow afternoon don't be late" Breez said with a hint of a smile on her face.

I hugged Breez so hard she wheezed out "can't breath"
I instantly let go feeling horrible.

"Strong grip u have their" she said gulping down air

I couldn't stop smiling my dreams were coming true.
