Chapter 3

I was dizzy. I felt like I was falling. Falling into an endless pit but it wasn't because when I hit the bottom it hurt like hell.

I opened my eyes to a bright white light witch slowly dimmed to illuminate the room i was in. I was confused at first expecting to see a dark room with bars.

Then it all came back to me Engine,flint,freedom,the helicopter and guns so many loud noises. My thought where interrupted by a girl dressed in a white coat. She smiled at me.

"Hi I'm Doctor Norbit, but you can call me Trisha" her smile was so caring and gentle that I almost fell for it.

But I new. I new from master that all humans ever want to do is hurt you. so I did what I have wished to do to master for years, I growled.

And it came out a lot more vicious than intended Trisha stepped back putting her hands up.

"It's okay your free now I won't hurt you"

But when she spoke she sounded scared and my animal side was smiling let her be afraid. That's all I ever was anyway.

Not realizing it i threw my legs over the side of the bed and got down. Not taking my eyes of  the doctor.

Suddenly the door behind her opened and she was pulled out while two taller women stepped in I growled and to my surprise they growled back.

The taller one with dark hair spoke

"You are free now but that doesn't mean you can hurt humans all the humans in homeland are friends of new species"

I did not understand. human friends who were they to tell me that humans where nice. They have not seen what I have. humans are mean they destroy you and then they laugh at you.

So I stood there not backing down though I was a little nervous. I had no idea what I was doing I had never stood up for myself.

"Humans are mean and cruel all of them"

I said with as much confidence as I could muster.

"No, it's just that the only humans you have met are bad ones Trisha is a mate to Slade a new species"

Now I was confused "what is a mate?"

The dark haired women sorry new species women (I had to remember)
Smiled at my confusion.

"A mate is someone who will love and protect you"

Love, I had herd master say he loved when I pleasure him was it the same wasn't love when someone enjoys something immensely?

Someone cleared there throat it was the doctor I had forgotten she was still here. She whispered something to the dark haired women but with my heightened senses I was able to pick up what she was saying.

" I need to examine her make sure she is healthy before she can leave"

Leave? I would be able to leave that was such a foreign concept I stood there shocked.

Looking from the doctor to the dark haired new species and just remembered there was a smaller new species that seemed to blend into the wall she was so quiet.

"Who are you?" I asked without thinking

I stared at the two new species the dark haired tall one spoke

"I'm Breez and this is Tiny we are new species. there are hundreds of us and we are all family. now that you are here  you are now part of this family"

Family?...
