Chapter 2

Previously

Flint walked ahead of us and pushed open the door and what greeted me made my heart stop.

I was hit with a light pressure momentarily I closed my eyes and enjoyed the feeling of its caress.

It was dark but that did not take away the beauty of the scene in front of me.

There was a dark shade of green everywhere. And then I looked up.

The dark sky was Illuminated by the moon I stared at it until I swore it looked back at me. Refocusing my gaze I saw the sky was filled with small white lights they seemed to sparkle in the dark.

I was snapped out of my trance when a hand was placed at the small of my back. Engine tried to guid me forward giving me a reassuring smile.

Then a man human by the smell of him approached but I had my eyes on what was in his hand it was the remote to my collar.

I started to panic is he going to punish me for thinking of escape!?  But all he did was give it to engine. I new it was to good to be true now it was just a matter of time till master came out and punished me himself.

But then Engine typed in a combination of different numbers I herd a beep come from the small black controller and my collar split in the back. It went tumbling to the ground I gasped as soon as the metal left my skin.

The cold night air hit my skin I was so shocked I stared at the collar on the ground still feeling A ghost collar around my neck.

Flint then came out of nowhere and started to speak his voice was deep and rough unlike Engines deep and smooth voice.

"Can you speak now?"

"Yes" my voice was so faint and cracked from lack of use.

"What is your name" Engine said calmly

"Kitty, but sometimes master calls me pet"

With my answer flint growled I stepped back worried he was mad at me.

But Engine quickly interrupted my train of thought

" flint is not mad at you but the person who kept you locked up no one will ever call you a pet again" he practically spat the word.

Flint simply nodded and walked over to a large black thing with lights that I had not noticed before.

Engine saw were I was looking and answered my silent question.

"That is a car and it will take you away from this place. Come on we should probably get going"

I silently nodded and walked forward Engine close behind.

As we got closer to the car Engine stepped in front and opened the door for me. I quietly thanked him and entered. He rounded to the other side and got in.

He leaned in and pulled a strap from one side of my body to the other. I got nervous but just hugged grey closer. Engine did the same and told the people in the front to go.

I spent the in tire ride looking out the window in aw.  On the way I learned the name of the two people on the front Trey sat in the passenger seat and Steve was driving.

We finally arrived after about 
45 minutes of driving. But instead of concrete we were met with a small clearing surrounded by trees

There was a big black thing bigger that the car with panels like the fan in my cage at the top.

I turned to Engine  and asked
"What is that?"

Engine seemed happy that I asked and said "that is a helicopter"

I smiled and nodded we got out of the car and were instantly surrounded by more cars and more humans. I relaxed when I saw that Flint was with them. they must be friendly but I have never been near this many people before and it was startling.

I whipped me head around to the helicopter that started to make a loud buzz. The panels/blades started to move I followed them with my eyes until they blurred together.

My hair whipped around my face as the wind became to much I closed my eyes and faced away bumping into a human with a wide chest he had a hand over his eyes and looked down with a smile on his lips. I simply cuddled in closer looking for comfort he silently put a arm on my waist to trying to comfort me.

Holding grey close I felt safe. The human lowered his head and said so I could hear over the helicopter
"it's okay it won't be to loud once you get inside my name is Tim".

He walked me forward with Flint and Engine on ether side of him. Just as we were where about to enter the helicopter a loud bang was heard followed by more it was like what I had herd in my cage Tim yelled

"EVERYONE GET DOWN"

I was shoved up into the helicopter and into the waiting arms of Flint, he growled and sat me down and buckled me in.

People kept firing black guns they were GUNS!! I finally recognized them my guards had some. they never took them out so I did not recognize them at first. 

Engine closed the door behind him and he took off.

I was so confused and scared I started breathing heavily not knowing  what to do. I started hyperventilating, I could see Engine's lips moving but I could not make out his words. I suddenly felt a prick in my arm and my mind seemed to fog over, I was falling, falling into darkness.

Engine and Flint are my own characters but Tim and  trey are not. Sry for the grammar and spelling mistakes.
