It's Tuesday at DB academy,just another ordinary day in October, I am Lia. I'm an eighth grade student here, I live with my father and his wife. My mom and brother had to move to another state recently so I don't get to see her but that is besides the point.
As I said it's an ordinary day so far. There is this boy that I like named Elijah, I've known him since fourth grade but I just recently developed feeling for him. Although I never told him I am pretty sure he knows because of my friends who can't keep their mouths shut. I am thinking about him while walking to my next class when I accidentally bumped into one of my best friends causing me to fall backwards. I let out a little help as I hit the ground.
"Sorry Lia,"Jones said smiling at me while offering to help me up, " stop spacing out and pay attention"
I took his hand, got up then gave him a hug. I said sorry and that I was about to be late and so was he, then I hurried down the waving bye.
Yup just another ordinary day, or so I thought.
