the heroic princess

confession

  "Lia you're finally awake!" One of them said.
  "Lia I'm so happy you awake." The other person said.
   It didn't take me long to realize who they were.
  "Jones, Stanley I'm so glad you're here." They came and soon enough both of there big muscular bodies  were hugging me and I had to yell at them to get of because I couldn't breathe. The cuts are healing so that didn't bother me and my foot that was shot still hurts sometimes and I still have to keep it up so luckily they didn't jump on it. My shirt is a little wet so I'm guessing that they had tears in there eyes.
    "Guys are you crying?" I asked subconsciously.
     "Huh? Oh shit I didn't even realize that. Sorry Lea your shirt is wet now." Stanley replied saying the last part sheepishly. I just laughed and Jones smiled.
    We talked for awhile before they left. When they left it was 8 at night so there was still 2 more hours of visiting hours. During that time some kids from school came, maybe like 3. One of them was Kim all she did was cry and apologize. I tried telling her that it wasn't her fault but she didn't listen. She stayed for about half an hour before she dicided to go home by then it was 9:30.
    "Hey, Lia? Can I tell you something?" Elijah asked out of no where. I just smiled and nodded signaling him to continue. "Well, umm i-i, well there's a reason why I agreed to stay with you and umm before you say anything I just wanted to do this.."
    He cut himself of by kissing me. Surprise would be an understatement about how I felt but either way I still kissed him back. It lasted for only a few seconds but it felt like hours. When he pulled away I could tell he was blushing because I could feel the heat radiating of of him. After a couple minutes of akward silence, he finally spoke up...
   "Sorry I just had to. I've dated a lot of girls but only because I thought that you would only see me as a friend but while taking care of you I couldn't help it..." He paused before saying something​ I would never have expected him to say to me " I love you Lia, would you please go out with me?"
