On the way back to my classroom I ran into Elijah.
"Hey Lia, why you being such a stranger?" He joked while smiling sweetly, I could feel my cheeks warming up, "let me get a hug then I'll let you go to class"
He loves teasing me but I had no choice so I gave him a hug smiled and kept walking. I could feel his amused gaze on me as I hurried down the hall.
During social studies we were learning about the Constitution. Halfway through the class the loudspeaker came on.
" This is a lockdown" Miss Park stated through the loudspeaker," is not a drill, I repeat this is not a drill."
Everyone was in a panic but eventually we all hid where the teacher told us. I was right next to my friend Kim, I admit I was scared and Kim knew it because I was gripping her arm tight.
" It will be alright Lia"she said reassuringly. I knew she was scared I could feel her shaking. We were there for about ten minutes before we heard something shatter. Every one got even more scared when we realised that the shatter was from the glass part of the door. I squeezed Kim's arm and she squeezed my hand. A couple of seconds later the door opened. A man dressed with normal clothes and a clown mask came in.
