Chapter 19:Over-Protective Mate

Jules POV

As I was driving down the road to my house I looked over and seen Zar with a far away look on her face and she looked really pale and it sacred me a lot so I decided to call her name to see if I can get a reaction out of her.

"Zar?? you ok?" I asked her and no response

" ZAR!!!!" I shouted and still nothing so I decided to mindlink my brother

"Xav?? you there?? something is wrong with Zar" I said

"What is it?? whats wrong with zar??" he said

"She isn't responding to her name when I called her name" I Said

" Tell me what happened" he said

" We just left the mall and she started acting weird and then she kinda shut down like something she saw freaked her out" I said

" Brig her home NOW!!" he said growling

"OK on my way" I said speeding up

Once I made it home I seen Xavier throw open the door and sprint to the car door and threw it open even before I had the chance to stop the car. Once he had her in his arms she went straight to the couch and put her on his lap and his head in her neck sniffing her scent so he could calm down.

" What happened" Her parents asked, I know noticed they were here; I guess Xavier called them over.

I re-told them what had happened and once I finished they tried to go over and see if their daughter was ok and once they were close enough Xavier looked up at them with pitch black eyes and snarled at them to back up, They ad shocked expressions on their faces.

Why did he just snarl at us? all we want to do is see if she is hurt or harmed in anyway" her mom asked

"Its his wolf, ever since Jules here told him what happened to czarina him and his wolf went into over-protective mode, They wont let anyone near her and I mean ANYONE that includes us as well and any other person for that matter not until they feel like she is safe" My dad said to them.

We all heard movement come from the couch and looked up and seen Zar stirring around waking up, also seen Xavier looking intently at her just to make sure she was fine and that he didn't have to take her and run until she was safe and the threat was eliminated.

"What happened Baby Girl" Her dad said

" I don't know, The last thing I remember was that I felt like something or someone was watching me and when I looked at the woods by the mall I seen a pair of yellow eyes like the ones when I was attacked and got all these marks" she said

"Oh no... He is back" her mom whispered fearfully

"WHO IS BACK?!?!?'' thundered Xavier and causing zar to whimper and hide her head into xaviers necks. He stopped growling and pulled her closer to him and was shushing her.

"His name is Grayson Smith and he is not a very good person" Her dad said

I know that name I just cant put the face to the name but all I know that if Xavier ever sees him, he wont have a very pleasant death; he will not have a fast and quick death he will have a slow and painful death. SO he better watch out because once you anger Xavier and endanger his mate you are in for a rude awakening and you will pay for it with your life.
