'Princess Mary Kate Back at the Palace'
'Kensington Palace twitter announced that the one-year-old daughter of Prince Harry and Jackie Baker has returned to her home at Kensington Palace this morning after a brief stint in the hospital.'
'The series of tweets read:'
'Princess Mary Kate has been released from the hospital this morning following her successful surgery yesterday. She had two small tubes placed in her ears to prevent future ear infections.'
'The Duke and Duchess of Windsor thank everyone for the kind messages, cards, and gifts their daughter has received.'
'The Duchess of Windsor plans to take some time off to care for the Princess while the Duke will resume his public agenda as scheduled, including the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games.'
'According to reports, Princess Mary Kate came down with two very serious ear infections shortly before the opening ceremony of the Invictus Games, where she and her mother were set to appear. Jackie and Mary Kate's absence fueled a media frenzy when it became evident that even Prince Harry didn't know where his family was.'
'Jackie Baker never left the hospital during Princess Mary Kate's five day stay. Prince Harry made brief visits, but still attended the Invictus Games as scheduled. It seems he was not at the hospital during the surgery yesterday, as he only stayed for about twenty minutes that morning.'
'Photos of the couple snapped during the ordeal are far from pleasant- both Jackie and Harry looked stressed and angry. While there haven't been any reports of marital discord, Prince Harry was photographed looking chummy with Ellie Goulding while his daughter was in the hospital.'

"Oh, how nice," Jackie said with a smile as George gave Mary Kate a hug.
Kate had brought George over to Apartment 1B to visit with Mary Kate on her first day home from the hospital. She arrived with a variety of pre-cooked meals that Jackie could simply heat up and eat. Kate was always so helpful and put together in times of stress.
"When's the last time you slept through the night?" Kate asked as George and Mary Kate began playing with a large block puzzle.
"Don't ask," Jackie said with a laugh. The truth was, she was absolutely exhausted- physically and emotionally. But there wasn't time to sleep, she had Mary Kate and Harry to worry about.
"Why don't I sleep here tonight, William can handle George and I'll get up with Mary Kate so you can rest," Kate offered.
Jackie smiled at her friend. "That's so kind, but I already called Nanny Sophia. She's coming over so I can go to the closing ceremony."
Kate's eyes widened. "You're going?"
Jackie nodded. "I think I need to. Harry and I have been bickering for days, and I think I just need to show my support. We haven't announced it to the press, so there's no pressure. It'll be fun."
"Harry needs to show his support," Kate said sharply. "He wasn't there for the surgery, he wasn't with you when you brought her home."
"He's really busy," Jackie insisted- though internally she agreed with Kate. "He's been planning this for a year, I understand why he's doing what he's doing."
Kate didn't look convinced. "He needs to keep his priorities in check."
"It's hard when you're in the royal family," Jackie said with a sigh. "You're constantly being torn between work and family."
