'Princess Mary Catherine Diana Rushed to the Hospital!'
'Anyone watching the Invictus Games opening ceremony last night noticed there was something- or someone- missing. Kensington Palace confirmed last week that Jackie Baker and Mary Kate would be attending the much-anticipated start to the five-day event, however, they did not make an appearance with the other royal guests.'
'Rumors immediately began to swirl over the absence of Prince Harry's leading ladies. One source claimed Jackie and Harry had gotten in a massive row that day, another claimed Jackie had a wardrobe malfunction just before she was set to walk out. Kensington Palace put the rumors to rest this morning when they released a series of tweets on their twitter account:'
'Princess Mary Kate has been hospitalized to treat severe middle ear infections. The Duchess of Windsor accompanied her daughter to the hospital and was unable to attend the Opening Ceremony of the Invictus Games.'
'The Princess will remain at St. Mary's Hospital indefinitely until her ear infections are resolved, and will be required to undergo a minor surgery. The Duchess will stay with the Princess. The Duke of Windsor will attend the Invictus Games as scheduled.'
'The Duke and Duchess of Windsor thank you all for your concern for Princess Mary Kate.'
'According to WebMD, children who experience frequent ear infections can have a small tube placed through the ear drum to aid in drainage and aeration. The surgery is routine, but can have complications, as the child must be anesthetized, or put under.'
'The DailyMail wishes Princess Mary Kate good health and will continue to post updates on the developing story.'

Jackie rocked Mary Kate slowly and steadily in a hospital rocking chair, singing 'La Vie En Rose' in a soft voice. Her mother sang it to her when she was little, and Jackie often found herself singing it to Mary Kate when she was putting her to sleep.
Harry had slept for a few hours at the hospital with Jackie and Mary Kate before he returned to Kensington Palace in the early hours of the morning, before the palace announced that Mary Kate was in the hospital. It was 7:30 am, the morning of the first day of the Invictus Games. Harry was going to stop be the hospital to check in before heading to the Olympic Park for the first event at 9 am.
Mary Kate, who had woken up multiple times the night before, was dozing in Jackie's arms. Jackie gently settled her daughter into her hospital bed, pulling the covers up to her chin. Then, she walked over to the window of the hospital room, peeking through the blinds.
About a hundred paparazzi swarmed at the curb. They began arriving less than five minutes after the statement was released early that morning. Hospital security had been heightened to protect all the patients inside, not just Mary Kate.
A black Range Rover approached the hospital. Immediately, the cameras began to flash. Jackie watched as Harry stepped out of the passenger's seat, walking quickly through the crowd of paps and into the door.
Jackie waited near the door to Mary Kate's room. A few moments later, the door swung open and Harry walked in.
"She's sleeping," Jackie warned. Harry greeted Jackie with a quick kiss, handing her a duffel bag.
"Elizabeth packed this for you. She says she'll be over soon," Harry said. "How was she after I left?"
"She cried for a while, but I think the medicine is finally starting to work," Jackie reported. "Did you get some sleep at home?"
