"Here comes baby number one," Dr. Brown called from behind the drape that separated Jackie's head from the rest of her body.
Jackie was laying on the operating table, her Caesarean section nearly finished. Harry was sitting on a stool just next to her head, in full operating gear, only his eyes exposed. "Go look!" Jackie urged.
Harry's eyes showed a mix of excitement and panic. "I don't know-"
"Harry, look!" Jackie laughed. "If I can't see it, you have to."
Harry nodded, taking a moment to steel himself, before he peeked over the drape to see the delivery of the first twin. Jackie could hear a flurry of movement, and then a single cry.
"Oh my god," Harry whispered, sitting down on a stool with a thud.
"What's the matter?" Jackie asked worriedly. "Is it a boy or a girl?"
"I don't know, I was too focused on the giant hole in your stomach," Harry breathed, resting his head in his gloved hands.
"Be strong!" Jackie pressed. "Please!"
Harry nodded, standing up again to peer over the drape. Dr. Brown's voice called, "And here's baby number two!"
Another cry came shortly after, music to Jackie's ears. She looked at Harry, whose face was filled with joy. "They're beautiful, Jackie!"
"Two healthy little girls!" Dr. Brown declared.
Two nurses carried over two tiny pink babies wrapped in white blankets, their eyes closed against the bright lights of their new world. Jackie was able to give each of her new daughters a kiss before they were whisked to the nursery, Harry following closely behind, while she was stitched back up again.

"I'm glad you're recovering so quickly," Kate's voice gushed into the phone.
"My doctor says I should be able to leave tomorrow morning," Jackie added. She had been a mother of three for only a few hours, and Dr. Brown had informed her that if she still felt well over night, she and the twins would be able to leave the next day, May 4th.
"Harry sent Will and I a photo, the girls are such pretty little babies. I wish we were still at Kensington so we could come visit," Kate said. Will, Kate, George, and the Princess had already swept off to Sandringham where they had a bit more privacy. Jackie and Harry planned to follow as soon as they could.
Kensington Palace twitter announced the birth of the twins in a series of tweets early that morning, much to the excitement of royal watchers:
'Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Windsor was safely delivered of identical twin daughters via Caesarean section this morning, May 3, at 6.45 am and 6.47 am.'
'Both babies weigh 7lbs 4oz. The Duke of Windsor was present for the births.'
'The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales & The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and other members of the family have been informed.'
'Her Royal Highness and her children are doing well.'
"I wish you were here, too," Jackie said fondly. "Have you decided on a name for 'Sister'?"
Kate laughed. "We have. Are you ready?"
Jackie smiled to herself. "I'm ready."
"Charlotte Elizabeth Diana."
Jackie gasped. "Is it really?"
"Don't you like it?" Kate asked hurriedly.
"I love it!" Jackie enthused. "But I've just filled out the birth certificates for the twins, and you won't believe it."
