I keep talking about how you saved me... and you did, in every way possible.
But I also saved you. I know, why would Ethan Parker ever need saving, especially from me, Nadia Barlin?
You, with your sandy hair and ocean eyes. You, with your perfect record in both sports and academics. Your life was as shallow and transparent as a kitty pool, right?
Wrong. Your life was something that rivaled mine, and that's saying something. The problem was that your parents cared too much. In fact, they cared so much about ensuring their son a future they lost sight of you.
You were a spoiled, rich prince living in his kingdom. That's what the world saw. But not me.
I saw a misunderstood boy trapped in a handsome shell. And I saved you. We saved each other, I suppose ... for a while.
