Currently lounging in my backyard. It's freezing my butt off. I feel like I should say something poetic, like —
I see you in the stars. In the way they twinkle on the night sky. Far away, they're just objects for people to marvel at. They look pretty, and that's it. But up close... they're so much more.
You were so much more. A beacon of light in the darkness, flickering and glowing all alone. You drew me in like a moth to a flame and, together, we began to navigate the way out.
Maybe we could have escaped. If you had stayed.
— or something like that. But I am just heavy. There are no words for this feeling.
