"I, Jordan Andersen, reject you, Alexander Theos, as my mate." I spoke with authority in my voice.
"You can't just reject me." He growled out.
"And why the fuck not?" I bark at him angrily.
"Because you're mine."

I was a little confused when Alexander began to drag me down the stairs. He then left a grip on me as him and I entered the living room. I was then pushed down, forcing me to be seated on the couch. I began to panic when Alex covered my vision with a blindfold, but instantly calmed when I felt him gently place a kiss to my head. It had been a few minutes and Alex hasn't come back yet. I was fed up and about to rip it away from my vision when I heard someone yell with strain in their voice.
"No! Keep it on baby. I'm sorry I'm taking so long it's just he's.. Urg, he's a little heavy and giddish." I heard Alex yell. I stopped, happiness flooding my body knowing that he hadn't pranked me. Suddenly now I was curious What does he mean by he?
A few whispers came from me unannounced, causing my anxiety to kick in. I took my bottom lip between my teeth, nibbling. Bad habit. After a moment, I began to taste copper.
"What have I told you about biting your lip, huh? I might have to give you a different present." I heard Alexander deeply growl. I could sense the seriousness in his voice, even after he chuckled.
I immediately let go of my bottom lip, my face flushing red.
I heard a whine and stopped. What was that?.. Then another whine and a small bark. Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh! I heard feet shuffling and felt someone reach behind my head, uniting my blindfold. At last! Freedom!!
"Here's your surprise, babe." I heard him whisper into my ear. With that, he pulled my blind fold away quickly. My vision blurring for a moment, letting my eyes adjust to the light. I looked down. My mouth fell open in awe. There, sat a small puppy, but not just any puppy, the dog I've always wanted since I was a small child. It was a baby husky!
I squealed excitedly and fell to the ground, engulfing the small pup in a huge hug. He barked happily, licking my face as I giggled. He smelt quite good and his fur seemed to be a bit damp. Maybe Alex bathed him before he gave him to me.

Wait... Alex!
I turned around, my eyes watering. I jumped onto Alex, hugging him super tightly and kissing him over the face.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!" I cried out happily. Alex stumbled a little, being caught off guard from my sudden change in aura. He placed his hands on my bum, supporting my body weight and kissing my head.
"That's ok, princess." He mumbled into my hair. I know this may sound cheesy but I actually felt like I was a princess, his princess. I kissed him once again, but longer.
"If you wonder why I got you the puppy, it' because I wanted to say sorry for how my mother and Vivian acted towards you. Also because I'm always so busy and never get enough time to spend with you, so when I do have to go out on missions and pack meetings, then you have this little guy." Alexander spoke. I smiled and kissed him again great fully.
Suddenly, I heard a growl. But this time it wasn't from Alexander, it was from the husky. Alexander chuckled and put me down gently. The husky whined and then lightly scratched at my leg, wanting attention.
"Wow, he's already jealous of me." Alex mumbled and I laughed loudly. I crumbled to the ground and took the small pup into a comforting embrace. He yipped happily as I gave him love and attention.
"Have you named him, yet?" I asked curiously. Alex looked down at me and shook his head. I already had a name in mind so I was happy he hadn't named him yet.
"Nope, I wanted you to." Alex said and I nodded, smiling still.
"Have any name in mind?" Alex asked. I nodded excitedly.
"Max." I state up to Alex. I noticed he smiled at me brightly and knelt down so he could also pat the puppy, well Max.
"That's a good name for him, he suits a Max." Alexander chucked. I nodded, kissing Max's head as he yipped happily and licked my face again. I don't care what you germ or health freaks say, I always treat my pets as if they're my babies, so I talk to them in baby voices and kiss on the head and show them just as much love as a person. So go fuck yourselves if you think that's fucked up.
"Hey Max." I giggled and Max looked up, his spiralling blue eyes showed a sort of happiness as he jumped up and put both of his paws on my shoulders, pushing me down with his body weight and licking my face.
"Aww, so I see you wike Max." I said in a baby voice. Max barked happily and danced around a bit. I got up watching him and giggled.
I cooed and patted him gently as he jumped on my leg. He panted with his tongue to the side of his now open mouth. I noticed that Alex scrutinised both Max and I.
"You better not be a cockblock." Alex said to Max. He reached down, patting his head and kissing mine.

Hey guys! So now you know about the surprise The truth is I got inspiration from the movie '8 below' and the name from the movie too but also because I've always wanted a Siberian husky ever since I watched that movie when I was a little girl and I wanted to name my husky Max so when I get older I'm gonna make sure I get one and name him Max.
