Get ready for a sad ass chapter
Play the song above xx
~ Chels
Jordan's POV:
I lazily picked at the grass with the tips of my fingers. I was currently laying on my back while staring up into the sky. My eyes diverting to all the different clouds that would come and go as the wind blowing them into different shapes and sizes. The sound of Chelsea's song playlist was being played on a low volume, not too loud but not too soft.
Chelsea sat up, cross legged while she platted what she could with Jess's short, light brown hair. Jess had already played with Chelsea's long, blonde hair. Emma was now decorating Chelsea's braid, a few flowers of assorted colours were being pushed into the gaps. She had previously explained how she wanted it to look like Repunzels hair from Tangled when those town square kids were playing with it.
I yawned as I continued to pick at the lush green grass, my finger tips lightly grazing over the dirt. I rolled over, grabbing my homemade smoothie that Diana insisted on making. I took a short sip from it, attempting to save as much of the mango goodness I could.
A loud exhale escaped from my lips, demonstrating how good it tasted. I put it back down steadily making sure that it wouldn't fall onto the ground. I then once again stretched out and fell onto my back with an 'oomph'.
Diana sat next to me, the purple smoothie held below her face as she had the pink sparkly straw in her mouth. I watched as she took Snapchat's of herself. Then after a minute she turned the camera around and began snapping all of the beautiful clouds and flowers she saw.
One thing I've learnt about her is that she is literally the selfie queen. She can get up from a nap, no makeup, hair looking like a birds nest and take a selfie, and she would still look like a super model. She was kind of like Chelsea just a bit better. I would be lying if I told you that I wasn't jealous of her.
"Isn't this lovely girls?" Diana asked, staring longingly at her white manicured fingernails, dusting away what little dirt she had on them. With the same hand, she ran it through her long, silky brown hair. Her light blue eyes scanning over each of our faces. We all softly agreed, not wanting to be too loud since this eminence peace and quiet is just what we needed.
Another thing that Diana does that makes me slightly jealous is that she's so overly confident. She had already made friends with my friends within the conspiracy of 20 minutes. She's a very appealing and genuinely nice girl that everyone automatically loves, hell, I loved her as soon as she sassed Alexander. I can really see her being one of my best friends. At least she isn't like her mother or Vivian.
"Guys, I haven't heard from Asher in a while... have you?" Emma asked, leaning back of her heels and away from Chelsea's fully decorated head. Jess and Chelsea share a 'oh yea' look, both shrugging. I bit at my lip. They're right, I haven't heard from him either.
"Maybe... he's just a bit busy with his family. Who knows. We can see if he wants to FaceTime soon so we can all talk to him." I say excitedly, trying to turn everyone's anxious thoughts away. Chelsea and Jess's eyes light up and nodded enthusiastically. Emma grabs out her phone and clicked it on, scrolling into her contacts and finding a contact name under 'monkey dude' she goes to click on it but the phone turns black. Her face contorts in anger and she growls.
"Ugh. I forgot to charge this thing!" She groaned as she threw her pink Samsung down the soft, grassy hill causing us all to chuckle.
"We can just use mine." I insist and grabbed out my phone from the picnic basket.
