The moment I woke up, I was able to see the horizon, the birds chirped loudly and people were barely waking up, everything was getting ready for the new day. Yesterday was a new start for Cassidy and I, though it started real awkward, she had ordered pizza and watched marvel movies until I left. After staying nearly the whole afternoon with her and convincing her to go to school, she agreed to go before I left. Looking back, I couldn't help but smile, I was able to make things right between us, especially for myself.
I changed right away, went to eat breakfast with my parents, and waited for the guys to pick me up. I got in the car with the guys when they drove in my drive through, I sang the whole way to school to any random song in my head. We got out of the car and I still couldn't help but smile.
"Someone is in a good mood," Michael comments.
"Yep!" I said, popping out the 'p'.
Luke, Mikey and I got out of the car, bid our goodbyes to Ashton before heading to our school building. I walked up the front stairs, but I was stopped by the football team, "Hey, Cal."
"Sup Tim." I nodded at him.
"So, what's the plan with Caggie, today?" Tim asked, smirking.
I could feel Mikey and Luke tense up behind me, mainly Luke, I know he wants to say something, but he truly never really have the guts to do it.
I coughed, awkwardly, "Yeah about that, let's just forget about her. She isn't worth our time."
"But-"
"Shut the hell up," I snapped, pushing Tim and few others towards the cheerleaders," Just go be a fuck boy and go get them, cheerleaders."
"But-"
"Just go or I'll get pissed off," I growled.
They all looked at me in a mixture of fear and shock. They obligated and left since they knew I can ruin their lives with the snap of my fingers.
"Woah, you just stopped the whole Caggie thing now," Michael gawks, "what happened yesterday?"
"Chill, Cassidy and I made it a truce,"
"Truce?" Luke asked, almost choking on his saliva," For real?"
I nodded, walking to our lockers, approaching the middle of the hallway. I mid-stopped and saw Cassidy, she was here, but with that new famous transfer student. He was the topic everyone talked about. Pfft, he's not even that good looking. Michael and Luke seem to notice my gaze. That's until Luke ran up to Cassidy and hugged her from behind. Michael then tackles them down to the cold floor. They laughed before getting up, I walked to the small group while glaring at the new transfer student, Walter? Wally? Willard? Who knows.
"Hi guys," smiled Cassidy.
My stomach flutters once Cassidy smiled. We're just friends. I turned to my right to see the transfer guy.
