CHAPTER XII: LOST SISTER

 (Jake's P.O.V)

From the moment I saw the ice queen, I knew helping Résh get the ingredients that Ms. Savina needed was far wrong.

She looked exactly like her, from head to toe. She looked like the love of my life, Flare. I remembered Flare telling me that she had a twin sister with the power of ice like I have with Jack.

"What? How can that be?" she asked, I could tell she was holding back tears.

"I can explain everything but not right here, not right now. You see, you're in grave danger, Queen Elsa."

I had to tell her that, I wanted them to be reunited but I really don't know how.

"Please, take me to her." she begged while tears flow down from her eyes.

"I will, I promise." I said.

"Jake?" said Jack from behind me. I got shocked a little, "What's going on? I heard everything." he said.

"Jack, it's a very long story but right now, I need your help." I said directly.

"What? Are you planning on betraying Résh?" he frowned.

"It's not like that, it's really hard to explain but please, just trust me on this." I said.

"Just tell me everything first, who's this Flare? And do you know Queen Elsa?" he asked as he hastily scratches his head.

"So, Savina doesn't know about Flare?" he asked as we were flying towards the place where I kept Queen Elsa's sister.

"I feel uneasy. I'm not very fond of heights, you know" said Elsa. We made Iya find something for her to wear and luckily, she found an ice blue dress and made Elsa wear it for she was still wearing her night gown.

Elsa was carried by Jack because he has ice powers and she won't last long and get burned if I carry or even touch her. Even Iya couldn't bear to touch me.

"Don't worry, Queeny. I won't drop you." he smirked at her.

"Don't call me that, Frosty." she glared.

Jack groaned, "You know what? You're really getting on my nerves." he also glared at her.

"You know, I have news for you, you are too." she said sarcastically.

"Really? Then you wouldn't mind me dropping you." Jack said.

"Don't you dare!" she yelled as she held onto him tighter.

"Okay, that's enough, you two." I said, laughing a bit.

"Tch, you're lucky you're so cute." I heard Jack mumble.

Elsa didn't hear Jack. I kind of wanted to tease him, "What did I just heard from you, Jack?"

Jack looked away, he was blushing a bit. "Nothing, dear brother." he said sarcastically.

"You think she's cute?" I teased.

Elsa looked at Jack, also blush a little, "What?" she asked, she was trying not to smile but it's obvious she wanted to.

"Nothing! Stop asking questions or I'll drop you!" Jack dared. Elsa just looked away then pouted.

"You guys are just like a married couple." I kept teasing.

They both fidgeted then blushed even more, "Shut up, flame brain!" they said in unison. I just laughed.

"Are we there yet?" asked Jack impatiently.

"There," I pointed at a tall tower at the center of the forest where a small window can be seen, it belonged to an old woman and her daughter but she passed away and her daughter ran away so I took it.

"You kept her on a tower?" Jack asked.

"Well... Yeah, I had nowhere else to take her." I scratched my head.

We landed on the open window, the tower seemed darker, and the lights were off. Knowing Flare, she'd never turn off the lights. I felt something went wrong.

Jack explored the insides of the tower more because he too felt something wrong.

"Flare?" I called out but no one seemed to respond. I switched on the lights to find everything was a mess, I knew it.

"What happened? Where's my sister?" asked Elsa.

"Jake, I found something you should see." said Jack as he gives me a letter, the handwriting looked familiar and no, it's not Flare's.

Dear Jake,

I knew you were hiding the sister of the frozen heart's owner from the beginning, I just let it be until this very moment because I had pity but now, I am not letting you ruin my plans, bring me the frozen heart first before I give you Flare. Love, Savina

My heart rose with anger, I gritted my teeth then crumpled the paper. "Damn it!" I cursed with anger; flames were bursting from my body. That bitch! She'll pay for this!

"Jake! Stop, calm down!" said Jack trying to calm me down.

I made the flames disappear, "Savina has her and she wants us to give Elsa to her before giving Flare back."

"What!? B-but–" Elsa hesitated.

"What do we do now?" Jack asked.

Elsa sighed; "I'll just surrender myself for my sister to be safe–" tears were again flowing from her eyes.

"No you won't." I cut her off.

"What?" they both looked at me.

"Nobody will give her anything. I apologize for not telling you this sooner, guys but Savina wanted to kill all of the owners of the things she wanted. She wanted all of the scale of the dragon, all of the blood, all of the golden hair and your heart to gain full power because Savina will not last longer anymore that's why she used all of us." I explained.

"That's– that's terrible! She must be stopped!" Elsa exclaimed.

"It's okay, I understand but then how can we get Elsa's lost sister, Résha's parents, Clark's dad and Hiro's brother back?" Jack asked.

"We must kill Savina."
