《Penelope》

It's already 5:00 am when Sierra fainted because of the pain caused by her birthmark.

I took the wand, hidden in my sleeves. I flicked it, giving me a small bag that has gold dust inside. I poured small amount of gold dust on my hand and blew it through the wind as I closed my eyes and whispered something in my mind. Then I opened my eyes and saw the clocks going backwards. Just as planned.

I just manipulated the time. But I made sure she would still remember me.

Now, It's still 4:00 am. I was about to lay her on the sofa when I heard heavy steps, going down the stairs. It must be her mom or dad. "I must go now." I whispered. "Bye, Sierra, I will see you again." I added as I kissed her forehead.

I then stood up and whispered a spell as I slowly disappear through the air, leaving Sierra lying down the floor.

《Athena》

I woke up, hearing Sierra scream. That girl really was annoying, "That Poop face!" I groaned.

"It's. . ." I groaned again as I looked at the clock, "4:00 am." I continued as I stood up and went down.

As I was heading downstairs, "Hmmmm! I'm smelling food! I'm hungry!" I exclaimed. Sierra must have cooked something. I hurriedly went down towards the dining room.

"Oh my God!" I gasped as I saw Sierra lying on the floor, god, I thought she was dead until she breathed. I kicked her left foot. "Hey, Sierra wake up. Move and work. I need breakfast." I said but she's still not moving. I rolled my eyes and went closer to the table as I saw the chicken soup on the table. "Hm, I guess she already made me one."

"Yum!" I exclaimed as I ate the chicken soup. "It's so yummy!" I exclaimed in the middle of eating my chicken soup.

《Sierra》

I opened my eyes as I groaned, "What happened?" I asked. I felt like my body's numb. I can't feel anything. I can't move.

I blinked twice. It seems like everything is hanging upside down. "Aaaaaaah!" I screamed when I realized that I was wrapped in a spider's web upside down.

"Why am I here?!" I asked myself, panicking.

"I visited you." Someone said behind me. She's a girl, I can tell.

I forced to rotate myself while wrapped in a web to face the woman but I failed. "You mean 'kidnapped' me." I said, emphasizing the word 'kidnapped.'

"Kidnapped you? That was so rude of you. Why would a spider kidnap you? Yuck. We hate human flesh." She said, as I heard footsteps walking towards me behind.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

The woman went infront of me. I shrieked. It was terrifying. "You're a-a-a spider!" I shouted, stammering, shaking as I forced myself to slip out the sticky web.

"Relax, Ms. Shannon. I'm not gonna eat you. As I said, we hate human flesh." She said in a disgusted tone. She sounds like a young lady. A kid, perhaps. I looked at the thick hair on her body, the big eyes--oh God, that's disgusting.

"Oh really? How can I believe a BIG spider, talking to me, telling me the she's not gonna eat me?" I asked as I raised my left eyebrow. "And why did you wrapped me in a web if you won't eat me?!" I added.

"So that you won't run." She answered. "And it's---" the spider was about to say something when someone spoke behind her, it's a small spider. And it's not cute. I swear! I felt my sweat, dripping. It's very uncomfortable especially I'm hanging upside-down. Why am I not dead yet?

"Princess Galadriel, you should let her go. Her mom and dad is waking her up, now." The small spider said in a small voice.

"Oh, okay then." Galadriel replied without looking at the small spider. The small spider left. "So, I should let you go. I'll see you soon." She told me.

"What do you mean about 'soon'--Aaaaahhh!" I didn't finished my question when she spit an acid to the web causing me to fall down. Wait how'd she do that? Acid? Whaaat?

As I fell down the grass, everything became blurry and dark again. Oh God. What's happening? Am I dying?

"Hnngg.. hmm.." I groaned as I felt mom, shaking me back and fort repeatedly. "WAKE UP, YOU- MAKE YOURSELF USEFUL!"

"What?" I asked. "I mean. . . What happened? I thought I was in. . . With a. . . Wrapped in a. . . Talking to a--" I stopped when I realized something. "Oh, it's just a dream." I said and sighed in relief.

"What are you talking about, Sierra? Are you okay?" Mom asked. "Or are you just out of your mind? You were screaming. Did you have a bad dream?" Dad added.

"I'm okay mom, dad." I reassured them and smiled but mom's face expression changed.

"Why are you sleeping?! It's already 11:00 am! And you didn't cook our breakfast! Get up and cook! Useless kid!" She shouted as I immediately got up and replied, "Yes mom." Then I went to the kitchen.

As far as I can remember, I cooked a chicken soup for them! I slowly stared at Athena and caught her staring at me with a teasing face as she stuck her tongue out.

I widened my eyes at her, "So, you were the one who ate that all?" I whispered, enough for her to here. I was talking about the chicken soup. She nodded as she mouthed the words, 'Useless kid!'.

I rolled my eyes as I faced the kitchen counter, starting to mix the ingredients. Athena shouted in a childish tone, "Mommy! Sierra is mocking me! She also said that I'm fat and then she rolled her eyes!"

I gaped, "What in the world?!" I immediately reacted. "Sierra! You stupid child! Don't do those to your sister! You're just adopted---" Mom stopped shouting as if she realized something which I did to. My eyes widened. "I'm. . . A-adopted?" I asked her, stuttering. Was there really the real parents Penelope was talking about?

"No, Sierra. Your mother meant. . ." Dad said, thinking of what he'll say. "She uhmm. . . "

"It's okay, dad, mom. I know it's not true, am I right?" I asked, hoping they'll say 'yes'.

They nodded. "Of. . . Of course it's n-not true. Y-you're our daughter." Father answered, stuttering. I sighed quietly in relief but I never really did buy it. I had a feeling that they weren't twlling me the truth.

Because of that, I had doubts to myself.

Am I really adopted?
Why did they adopted me?
They don't even treat me like their own daughter.

If I am adopted, then who's my mother?
Why did she left me?

Those questions suddenly hurt me for unknown reasons.

'I hope I'm not adopted.' I thought as I continued cooking. I shouldn't think about that. I should believe them, they're my parents after all.
