《Sierra》

We spotted the King and the Queen. Both wearing worried faces. We immediately approached them.

"Mother, what happened?" Angelus asked. The queen looked at him then held his arm tightly. "She's here," The queen cried, "She's back,"

"Who's back?" Angelus asked.

"Sonaimad. She's back!" The queen cried in agony. As if she'd seen a living nightmare. "Go to your room. You should rest." The King said. "Take her to her room," he then demanded as the group of maids, dressed in white gowns, held the queen to support her weak body towards her room.

"Now, you should sleep now. Let us handle this." The King said but as he turned, Angelus spoke, "Sleep? how are we able to sleep peacefully? Father, Sonaimad was-- is here. In our castle. In our world. Right now."

"Sonaimad wasn't here. Your mother just thought she had seen her." The King said as he continued to walk.

"You expect me to believe that?" Angelus said.

"Son, this is too dangerous. Now, I'm ordering you to go to your room, right now."

"Order? Father, why don't you let me help? That's just all I ever wanted. Let me prove to you that--"

"Stop your foolishness, you can't even protect your brother! Now go to your room!" The King yelled that was Angelus stop.

There was a long dead silence. Not even the maids dared to make a sound.

Then the King's eyes soften. Angelus seemed hurt. Regrets were written. "Son--"

"Fine." Angelus said as he stormed out and went back to his room.

I looked at Sachiel, he shrugged and gave me this worried look.

"S-sorry for this..." The King apologized. "I never should've said that. I-I was just worried that he'd be taken away from me too." Then he looked at me. "Sierra, I'm really sorry--"

"No, it's okay I understand." Then I smiled warmly at him. "King, everything will be okay."

《Angelus》

I heard the door creep open. I ignored it and pretend to sleep.

"Angelus," That was Sierra.

I didn't move.

"Angelus. I know you're not asleep." she said. But I ignored her. "I hope you're listening." She said then I heard her sighed.

I felt the mattress I was lying on moved indicating that she sat on my bed.

"Your father. He's hurt too you know." She said, "I know what you're thinking. 'Shut up, Sierra. You don't know anything.' But Angelus--"

"My little brother. Angelo." I spoke as I arise from the bed. Sierra was looking worried.

"When Sonaimad once attacked this castle, I was left in a room with my little brother..." Then I closed my eyes, remembering those darkest chapters of my life. Forcing myself not to cry.

Then she handled me the Journal. I smiled in pain.

I opened the book and touched its page with my fingers and held Sierra's hand using the other hand. Then we went into the past I never even wanted to talk about. Now I'll see it again.
