The Art Of Imprinting

Chapter 7

We were now at the Twin's house. School was boring. I didn't have any homework but the group of boys kept throwing things at Allie, Cassie, and I everytime we saw them in the hallway and in the cafeteria. Thank god we didn't have class with them because they were upper classmen (8th graders).

"So guys, what do you want to do?" I asked, trying to figure out how and when I should tell them about Nicole. "Let's go to the fort." Allie and Cassie said excitedly. "Without Nicole?" At the mention of Nicole from Haley's mouth, she appeared next to Haley. "I'm right here! Lillian, tell her that I am here." 

I sucked in a breath and let out a huge sigh, fiddling with my shirt. "Guys.... Nicole is with us. I can see ghosts." I was looking at each one of them, trying to figure out what the reaction of me saying that would be. 

There was only silence until Haley pointed a finger towards the woods. "Let's go." 

Wow, that easy? I wonder what they are thinking about.  After a while of walking, we reached a secluded area with a big tree in the middle of the section. In that tree was a tree house and hanging from one of the vines were a tire swing. 

It was exactly like my vision. "How long could you see ghosts?" Haley asked, while sitting on the swing, looking at me with a serious face. "umm, since I was 9, I think. I don't really remember things from before I was 9. When I was younger, I was in the car with my mother when we got in a wreck. That's the only thing I remember, from my childhood. "

"How are you with the Cullens then? They aren't your parents. I know who they are. More like, what they are." I looked at Haley with a shocked face while looking at the twins. They looked confused so I quickly came to the conclusion that Haley knew about the other world, and the twins didn't. 

"In the wreck, my mother died. I also died... for a minute or two." I sat down next to the tree, leaning against it for support. 

"Every since then, I see ghosts. It's very scary sometimes. Nicole is here with me. How do you know about the super natural?" I asked, curiously. 

"Because my big sister is engaged to Sam. Sam's a shapeshifter." I nodded, understanding all of this. "WHOA. Shapeshifter?" 

I looked over at the twins to see them even more confused. 

After a couple of hours, Haley and I explained everything to the twins from shapeshifters to vampires. "Now that everyone is caught up, please... tell them about the redheaded one." 

"Nicole wants me to warn you guys. There is so much more than whats really going on. Nicole was murdered. Her killer was a redheaded vampire. She could still be around here. That's not even the bad part. Nicole told me that she wants you guys. She is going to track you, one by one, then kill you. We can never be alone, and never go into the woods. Stay with the shapeshifters, or something."

"But our sister, Bella is very nosy! What if she finds out? We can't keep anything from Bella." Allie said looked from Cassie to me and haley. 

"I think Bella already knows." Haley said. "Today, she's with your brother, Edward." I laughed when she said this. 

"Oh, Edward is not my brother. He's my Uncle. Emmett and Rosalie is my parents. Wait, Edwards hanging out with a human?" I asked, suprised. 

"Yeah, since yesterday. Things seem to be progressing fast. They really like each other." Cassie said. "Oh. Well, I don't  know. Anyways, we need to be careful, alright?"  

We all agreed, just as it started to poor. 

Laughing, we ran back to the twins house to see Edwards car parked in the drive way. By now, we were all soaked and cold. 

"Lillian, where have you been, young lady?" Edward asked. "Fort" I replied looking at the girl he was beside. "Hi, I'm Bella." I wrapped my arms around myself, shivering. "Lillian." I said. 

Edward ushered me into the car and I quickly turned the heat on, waiting for him to be done talking to Bella. 

Soon, we were at the house. Paul wasn't there.
