The next time that I woke up, I was alone. My room looked as if I never destroyed it and I started to think that I just dreamt everything. That was until Paul came into the room with my mommy and daddy following him.
He was carrying a glass of water and soup in a bowl. I wasn't hungry but my throat was dry.
"Lillian, what were you thinking? Going out into the woods, going to a cliff, jumping!" My mommy yelled, angry. I knew that if she could cry, she would be in tears. The confused look I gave her made her even more angry.
"Do you not care for anyone else? I have given you everything! You have everything you ever wanted, everything that you have ever dreamed of. I took you in! Emmett and I have been the best parents we could ever have been!" She choked on her words. I would have felt horrible if I knew what happened.
"Just tell us why you tried to kill yourself." Daddy said, his eyes dead set on me. He has never been this serious.
"I-" I started to cough really bad until Paul helped me sit up. I grabbed the water and sipped on it, slowly. After a couple of minutes, I looked at my mommy.
"I don't have a clue what you are going on about. All I know is one second, I'm in the living room with Paul and everyone else and then the next, I'm sucked into my mind and come out to find that I am under water. I don't know what happened. It was like someone was controlling everything I do! Why would I try to kill myself. I love you! I love my family, friends, Paul even! Why would I throw that down the drain?" I asked, determined to have them believe me.
I studied their faces. It was silent for a long moment until the phone rang. Someone downstairs picked it up and then there was more silence.
"Why would I lie? I was sitting on the couch and then all of the sudden I felt weird. Like I was gonna pass out. But I didn't. I felt a pressure in my head and I knew something was wrong. Someone got into my brain." I shuddered and wrapped my arms around myself, looking at my comfortors. Paul was sitting beside me and wrapped his arms around myself.
"It was scary. I was sucked back into my mind, someone was making me walk towards the woods. that's all I remember. When I was sucked into my head, I saw something. Eyes. Red eyes, like... Vampires."
I looked back up to find shocked looks on both of my parents.
"Emmett... You don't think...?" My mommy trailed off. I was really confused. They act like it's happened before. "Rose. It is her." Daddy replied, looking at the wall with a blank face.
"I think you guys need to do some explaining." Paul cut in, sounding confused but serious.
"We had a daughter before you, lillian. Her name was Saphire. She was in an accident when she was a baby. We took her in. She was with us all of her life, up until she was 15. One day, she got a cut and Jasper went crazy. He bit her and she turned. Instead of staying with us, she fled. I don't know why. She just took off and as a newborn she was faster than any of us and we couldn't go after her. We had no idea where she went or even if she was still alive."
My mother stopped talking only for daddy to finish the story.
"Before she left, she didn't know how to control her powers. Edward grabbed her, holding her down. That's when she first used it on him, making him release her and thats when she fled. We haven't seen her since. We thought that she was dead. But now..." He cut off, walking out of the room.
All I could think of was that I had a sister. Why did she do that to me? She tried to kill me. I gasped when I came up with a reason.
"She thinks your replaced her, with me. She want's me out of the picture. I am as good as dead now."
Mommy shook her head and left the room, leaving me and Paul.
