"What happened to your head?" He demanded. I touched the side of my head and found a bump from when I was pushed to the ground. I told him the story.
"Did I say something to upset you?" I squeaked as daddy went faster down the road. I didn't like how fast he was going and clutched the granny grip on the ceiling of the car. I took a deep breath, feeling my lungs start to close up. "I'm sorry! Slow down!" I yelled, starting to hyperventilate.
It brought memories about the wreck and I started to cry. I felt him put his foot on the break and all of the sudden the car stopped. I opened the glove department and took out my inhaler. After using it twice, I put it away and sat back all the way on the seat.
"I'm so sorry, Lillian. I didn't mean to scare you." I nodded at him and he drove slowly to the house. I didn't talk to him all the way home. I was scared and kept seeing my dead mom. "Lillian, we need to talk about everything, alright? What happened to your head?" My mommy said while inspecting my head and seeing nothing seriously dangerous. She lead me into the kitchen. She handed me a bowl of fruit and I hopped onto the stool telling her about what happened.
She wanted to know the kids name but I didn't dare tell her or anyone, because I didn't know who they were. I noticed that only mommy and daddy were home. I started eating my fruit. "Edward told us every detail of your vision, so tell me if you've seen Nicole at all?" I nodded.
"I seen her all day, actually. She still likes to watch over Allie, Cassie, and Haley. She said that the red head one is coming after them. Soon, I think. The twins want me to come over to their house tomorrow." It was silent before she spoke.
"I don't like you being in this but we can't let innocent human girls die by a vampire. It could expose us and hurt our family. I won't lose you, do you hear me?" I nodded. "About the mutts." I frowned at that remark. "Sorry, about the pack. We have made a treaty. We are not allowed over there and they are not allowed over here." My eyes widened and I was going to say something but then stopped when daddy raised his finger.
"BUT, being the keyword, only Paul is allowed to come over. Only when you have finished your homework, and done your chores." I smiled and ran and hugged them both.
"I can live with that." I said. Just then the door opened and Alice, Edward, Jasper, and Paul came in. Alice bounced over to me. "I saw what happened at school, you poor thing! It was brave of you!" I blushed and looked down. "Auntie your embarrassing me!" I noticed Paul staring at me, looking pissed. Alice hugged me and went to her room with Jasper.
"Lillian, do you have some forms for me and your father to fill out?" I nodded and went to my backpack. "Too many!" I gave them a folder. I sat down on the couch and Paul came over. He touched my forehead and I winced. "Ouch, don't touch it!" I covered it up and glared at him. "Did you fall down, or did someone..."
"A group of boys were being mean and pushing my friends, Allie and Cassie around so I told them to knock it off and they pushed me into the ground and laughed. But then my new friend Jaycob came and helped me! He's huge! Like daddy huge!" I said excitedly.
Paul was shaking and I grabbed his hands with mine. "Its alright! Jaycob scared them off. I am perfectly fine!" He looked into my eyes and started to lean closer. I didn't know what he was doing but I quickly jumped up, feeling awkward. "Wanna see my room?" I ran upstairs hoping he would follow me.
