[Mama's NYC trip - 29 June 2002]

Ha, I didn't expect to be able to see the play before I leave. Oh yeah I'm ecstatic. I really don't care about "The Twelfth Night" and that it's really not so interesting; but I'm in Central Park watching this highlight event in NYC. (with Tom Hanks in the audience as well). Everything becomes very magical. Yes, the magic in the air. Why can't I have that magical feeling when I'm in Asia? Why none of the performance or venue ever given me that feeling? Why does it has to be NY and not Shanghai (even by mentioning Shanghai I know it can't happen there) what a pity!

Again watching the play is not the highlight but the fact that it is in Central Park. Watching the stage became dark after sunset, the summer lights in Manhattan, the joyous crowd, the trees surrounding, the airplains flying across the stage... it's all magical.

Again I feel blessed.
