*back to the present*
Reminiscing all of that just to explain Alic to Luna and Starla hurts so much. "Paige..... I had no idea any of that happened to you. You could have told me." Starla says and that's when I realize I had been crying the whole time I was telling them about Alic, looking at Starla and Luna I see they both have tears running down their cheeks too. "Shorty you love him still?" Luna asks me and I just nod. They console me the rest of the night and eventually Luna goes home. Starla and I go to sleep. That night Alic occupied my dreams. I feel like I'm dying inside. I lost Nat which let's be honest is not much of a loss.
When I wake up the next morning Starla and her boyfriend are already awake and she is super excited. Today is the day of the Andy Black concert! I love Andy, I love Black Veil Brides and so does Starla. "RUBY! WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?" I yell from my room. "Rosieeeeeee wear your jean shorts, a bvb shirt and sneakers." She says coming into my room holding Jeffree Star Weirdo and Red Rum. I love Jeffree his lipsticks are life! I let Ruby do my make make up, which mainly consists of lipstick and eyeliner. Then we switch and I do hers.
The concert was the best day of my life honestly. I made new friends, saw my idol, and fell in love with the opening act Colours. The lead singer and drummer even added me on facebook. Ruby and her boyfriend go home the day after the concert, leaving me alone with my thoughts while my mom works.
Three days have passed since the concert when my phone starts ringing. "Hello." I say not recognizing the number that called. "Hey Paige, it's Matt with Lost Carnival." "Oh hey what's up dude?" I ask wondering why he would call me. "Well I know you were looking for a job and if you still I want to talk to you." He says and I instantly get super excited. "Yeah totally I still am." I respond. "Awesome well I need counter help up here at the shop and I won't bullshit around it's crappy pay but I mean you get to chill in a tattoo shop all day and see cool shit." Matt says. "Yeah I'd love that. Can I come up tonight to talk to you more about it?" I ask looking at the time, my mom will be home in about an hour. "Yeah totally see you whenever." Matt says and hangs up. I have a job at a tattoo shop!
